Or it'll make Berkut even more brutal in the next attack wave. Wanting revenge can make others even more enraged rather than fearing the opposing side.

The police being shot at with live ammunition.
The police being being petrol bombed in a vehicle so they can't escape.

Here's my 2 cents: I'm afraid that extreme right group we heard about earlier around January is probably going to gain traction due to being more violent.
The opposition leaders wanted a diplomatic approach to this and the extreme right wanted more action, now that diplomacy is now impossible the extreme right will seem more centered [maybe even confidant].
Also, Russia has and probably will continue to dump resources until the protests [now more of a revolution] become demoralized.

Jesus, either you're blind or just dumb. Have you even read up on the conflict? Do you know about the abuse civilians and protestors are getting? Do you know how many basic human rights the government is breaching? We've passed the point where any peaceful resolution is possible months ago. The real terrorists are the government, and you keep ignoring these facts.
