People have earlier gained access to the presidents mansion. I'm sure news outlets will post proper outline of it, but lets all just look at this picture:
Are they actually his or state assets?
Source citation:
"To get an idea of why Yanukovych is so loathed by many in Ukraine, take a quick tour of his mansion in Mezhyhirya, some 12 miles outside Kiev. Now that Yanukovych has fled the capital, thousands of people, including reporters and curious bystanders, have made their way to the residence."

Can't say wether they're legally his, or belong to the state, but all you see on the pictures was factually his and it's all located on his private livingquarters.
More info about his mansion here. Apparantly the thing is stuffed with marble etcetera.

Some interesting snippets:
The sheer scale of Mezhyhiriya is mindboggling. The Ukrainian Customs and Excise Department’s database lists details of fixtures and fittings imported for its embellishment. Each of the mansion’s Lebanese cedar doors cost $64,000. Three sets of wooden panelling for staircases came in at $200,000, wall panelling for the winter garden at $328,000, and cladding for a neoclassical column and parapet for a flight of steps at $430,000. In the course of one and a half years the overall cost of fittings imported for Mezhyhiriya was $9,416,000.

The price of the chandeliers in Yanukovych's new residence has shocked Ukrainians. In a country where 35% of the population live under poverty line, spending 100 000 dollars on each individual chandelier seems excessive, to say the least.
It's good to know that that's not really his toilet.
The picture has been on the internet for ages.
They should convert his palace into a memorial museum dedicated to protests and riots.

We managed to slip to the first place in gold medals while the world was distracted. Political shitfest - redeemed!
did this from the video, don't know where to put it. I was just looking at it and realized that like 2-3 people die in this 1 video alone, not to mention like 10 people get shot. Sorry if big but where should this go?

I just I don't get it. The police defected. The army defected. What does he have left?
The Russian army could possibly send a force if it feels that the Ukraine is in an unstable state and is a threat to their national security or their boarders. Russian leaders could do it completely within their right if they feel it is "protecting" the country.

They found Yanukovych's TERA character.
This is possibly the best excuse for military intervention ever during this crisis, confusion and the word 'coup' being thrown around.

I hope this dies down soon. Now both sides have weapons, it'll turn into a civil war and russia gets involved in a worst case scenario for various reasons.
Do opposition fighters shooting at police deserve to die? Considering that in the U.S. a knife gets you killed.
Do opposition fighters shooting at police deserve to die?
No one deserves to die, but if you have to kill in the name of self defense it can be justified on either side.
Reading up on the former leaders release, the parliament decriminalized abuse-of-office.

Oh fuck don't tell me it's the Orange Revolution all over again.
Shit gets replaced with shit, and Ukraine will continue with it's path of stagnation.

lenin is falling!
The first statue to fall, in Kiev, was done by Svoboda/nazis.
Here's a nazi raid on the Communist Party HQ from a couple days ago:

Also the Communist Party just issued a letter to the international community today urging people to oppose the opposition and support their platform of moderate reform.
