so who's fault is it that the faces don't show up right in cutscenes?
I have 4 words to respond to Ubisoft blaming someone else for their problems. Stop giving Ubisoft money.
I don't think i can emphasis enough that people are too fucking stupid to not buy things. If they were smart, they'd stop buying it.
I don't think i can emphasis enough that people are too fucking stupid to not buy things. If they were smart, they'd stop buying it.
Kind of a shame too. They have tons of loyal AC fans who are willing to buy the game day 1 without seeing at all if it's shit. Blind loyalty sucks. I love the cod series for example, but I skipped ghosts because it told PC gamers to basically go fuck themselves, and bought AW because it didn't do that (AMD people have some problems, so I do as well with my R9 290, but with config tweaks I can get the game running and looking great).
And you know what the worst part is? NVIDIA is bundling these ubisoft games with all their new highend cards. It'd be pretty sad to buy a 970 and not be able to play the game that came with it.
Personally my last straw will be Far Cry 4. If they somehow manage to fuck it up despite all of the similarities it has with FC3 I will be pretty done with their shit.
Playing on a 770 and it's very much playable on all high and no AA. However it still is insanely unoptimised, because I bet if they had optimised it even I could play this on all max.
Alright guys, I'm playing on a stock 3570k and a gtx 660 windforce and I'm very surprised I can run the game maxed out without aa at around 15-30. even 40 fps in some rare cases, it does stutter a lot but it doesn't bother me at all due to the insane graphics and honestly I'm very glad it does! I still find it strange how black flag had the same stuttering issues on land too and that one looked arguably worse.
50,000 draw calls on the dx11 api? Not even $2,000 worth of hardware is going to alleviate that, geez. Might try this game in 5 years or something when hardware has advanced enough to at least give a consistent experience to play it by.
in my experience of mass hatred of a game for being broken and full of bugs and unoptimised, i've played through said games barely seeing anything wrong at all and running it at acceptable frames and settings so all this stuff just makes me want to try the game even more
Backpedaling so hard they went down a staircase.
Truth. This is a freaking circus.
If the comment about the draw calls is true then the game is probably totally CPU bound on most machines. And considering that AC games have already utilized the CPU cores badly in the past it's a combination for a total disaster.

I'm sorry for posting this again but at this point it's an obligation

When I bought a GTX 780 I got AC4 black flag and it ran like shit. Instead Nvidia should ask if they can put Witcher 3 for next year, especially since they are business partners.
[t]https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/v9it69uhyrqper/source/Mustang-AMD-Promo-2014.jpg[/t] No regrets. (Star Citizen's development is pretty much the polar opposite of Ubisoft's. It's also pretty unique, but that's beside the point.)
I also got Sniper Elite III and Napoleon Total War with it. Star Citizen's quite up front about its unfinished state, and unlike Ubisoft, the devs have a public timeline for when it'll be finished.
Sorry to drop the bomb on you but the game performs fine on a single GTX980 with everything maxed out.
Blatant horse shit liar alert. :siren:
They should of added mantle support which allows for a max of 100000 draw calls, would fix a lot of problems for amd users
There are many more where that came from.
i'm not a fan of this game at all, but say what you will, it looks like it has really nice facial animation. really nice
i'm not a fan of this game at all, but say what you will, it looks like it has really nice facial animation. really nice
The mo-cap and the facial animations in the game are fantastic. Last time I was this impressed was probably Crysis 3 which had incredible facial detail.
I wonder if the PR/Marketing guys at Ubisoft lay bets on each other for coming up with the most stupid and irresponsible shit while being drunk all the time.
Why do modern games in lower settings look worse than games made 10 years ago? Unity barely runs at 20fps on the lowest for me and my computer isn't old and has fairly decent stuff. It looks worse than Half Life 2.
Why is it that AAA games focus on making something really pretty and give it 1:1 facial flexes and shiny hair over a wholly functioning game?
Ubisoft is so full of shit. Like you can see all the shit just foaming out of their mouth.
Man I'd be willing to buy that game but the sheer amount of shit they did with this game stops me from buying any ubisoft game. Far Cry 3 was pretty rad, but since I knew they'd be fucking up again somewhere I simply stopped buying their games.
I really hope The Crew won't be affected by these performance issues that plagued every Ubisoft game this year, or be an overall shitty game. Of course, Ubisoft is only the publisher, the August beta ran fine on my rig (which is beyond the game's announced "optimal" requirements) but it's the only game I've been looking forward to this year.
