That was unexpected... This is really sad, for him, and for the band. But I guess after all, everything must end, even the rock'n'roll train...

Son of a bitch. Used to listen to these guys religiously and what a terrible way to end it all.
Very sad news. I've been listening to them since the mid 80's and will continue to play their anthems at unreasonable volume till the nurses take my stereo away. Nothing but good feelings and hopes for a good recovery for Mr. Young.
How can a schoolboy get a stroke?
That's a shame. I'm so glad I had a chance to go their concert before this happened.
Oh damn, I was expecting to read about some newfound hatred for each other or something like that, but this is much, much worse. What a sad ending for the first band I ever actually listened to.
How can a schoolboy get a stroke?
Malcolm's the rhythm guitarist, not the lead guitarist. He's responsible for probably 90% of their riffs and songwriting, and he's one of the best rhythm guitarists on the planet.

Man, was hoping to see them live someday but that's probably not going to happen
Talk about total harmonic distortion.
saw them live once and it was amazing, gutted to hear about this.
Well, this ruined my day.
Strokes fucking suck. My godmother had one recently and she's a completely different person now, really sad.
I will fucking kill you. Fuck you phone, I wanted to quote Clovis' post.
Damnit this should've happened to Fucking Korn or Godsmack (not the stroke part but the break-up thing,i'm not that dumb), why the hell did it have to be AC/DC? Really hope malcom gets better soon Of course i'll still be rated dumb because "Fuck you korn's awesome and fuels my rebellious spirit, Gosh!"
dude, KoRn is legit

What? Why hasn't this already happened? They haven't been relevant for 20 years.

Wow that's horrible. Being able to do as much for music as he did and then it's taken from him. :( I feel terrible right now.
Oh damn. I didn't even know they were still together. They're not my favorite band, but they've always been a great mainstay in our family, so it's really tragic to hear something like this. Can't imagine how the band feels :c
Damnit this should've happened to Fucking Korn or Godsmack (not the stroke part but the break-up thing,i'm not that dumb), why the hell did it have to be AC/DC? It's completely justified that something this emotionally crushing happens to those bands! WHY DO I GET RATED DUMB" Seriously. That's an awful thing to say.
Well AC/DC is from Australia so.
Actually, the majority of the band is from Scotland or England. The band was just formed in Australia.

Bands get tired, they get worn out and eventually, the creative spirit is no longer there, especially if a member is likely to be lost. You may think that KoRn is bad, but they are still very much alive and energetic. With Brian Welch back in the fray, they are even more energetic. They are one of the few reasons I can consider myself lucky to be alive right now after the shit I went through when I was younger. AC/DC had it's glory days but those are far past. You need to accept that bands will not stay together forever.
One of my favorite fucking songs :(
What? Why hasn't this already happened? They haven't been relevant for 20 years.
Classic rock is always relevant.
Well at least we still have Aerosmith, right? Wait, no we don't
ac/dc has like 2 good albums. the songs are nothing worth noting, other than that they are fun to listen to. they didn't revolutionize the music industry at all.
It's a shame, but ever since the real Paul died, they haven't been as good.
At least we'll always have ZZ Top
Damn, now what generic band is going to play me power chords?
The shot heard around the world. :v:
