Eh... I don't like it sorry.
Some of it is like lounge music.
It's alright. Or in other words, people in this thread are taking music far too seriously.
I feel like this album would have had more potential if they cut back on the amount of vocals. A lot of the vocals in this album sound cheesy to me. Lose yourself to dance would have sounded pretty awesome if it was built around having no vocals or at least less of them. I was really enjoying that track until Pharrel's vocals came in.
all music sucks
im just trying to shake the habitual because legolover seemed so convinced that the "vast majority of the shit" was trumped so easily by this record which would be offensive to anyone whos actually heard the albums coming out this year
and that's the fault of big record companies who manipulate social media and sink so much cash into hyping their schlock that independent artists dont even get to be a part of anything because they cant outfund daft punk
thats my deal you can laugh at my gay music tastes but as long as you hear it im happy
actually I like that point, but all you did was come in and say "fuck everyone here because this insanely different thing is factually better and you're awful for not agreeing with me and my superior tastes", so it's a little understandable nobody really took to you well- but I know that's your entire posting style, definitely stand out in a crowd
getting farther in the album right now, it's easy listening but like others are saying, it isn't really daft feeling, and it isn't really living up to the hype from that one sample. They've shifted way far from their original thing since Alive, no doubt, but it's not bad.
and what's with people calling their stuff repetitive have any of you actually listened to daft's original stuff since before alive. old daft-styled remixes are guaranteed to come out later and make this a heavier dance set, you can feel the entire thing is just set up to be mixed. Lose yourself to dance would be amazing in a number of popular mixer's styles, can't wait to see what comes of it as time progresses

I'm not really sure what the hell you're doing/trying to say like at all. All i'm getting from this whole thing is that you too my "vast majority is shit" as like a personal attack on whatever the hell you listen to, which I didn't mean it to.
I don't really care what the hell you listen to. If screaming and whatever you call that tooth for an eye song, if that's what gets you going then more power to you. I was originally responding to mustache saying that this daft punk album is better than most of the shit of what i've heard total this year. I don't know of all the bands or all the songs and I don't think anyone expects me to.
I do agree that a problem is with the funding as well. I don't think that like the managers of daft punk are evil because they pushed a much larger advertising campaign but how the fuck am I going to know of these Knife people if I don't see them anywhere or I just happen to not hear of it by word of mouth.
I don't listen to all the music. I don't think anyone does.

Are you drunk? I'll drive you home if you are.
When I listen to it I feel as if the best time to do so would be driving late at night/early in the morning.

i dont know some douche will probably post it on a internet forum somewhere im sure, in some random unrelated thread
You did basically insinuate "all music this year was shit".
Now that you said that, kind of pulled out the point of why he posted it.
woo i did it
would i get banned for posting a meme if i posted a picture of giga puddi giving a thumbs up?
Music sub forum folks all over this thread man, I like the album.
it was a personal attack on anyone who cares about music
Well I didn't mean for it to be like that.
You did basically insinuate "all music this year was shit".
And I certainly didn't mean that.
but I know that's your entire posting style, definitely stand out in a crowd
I think you're mistaking posting style for 'I can't stop posting my opinion no matter what.'
I think you're mistaking posting style for 'I can't stop posting my opinion no matter what.'
that could still be considered a posting style
or is there like a difference? what constitutes posting style? get back to me on this
Contact is pretty good.
Maybe it's just because of the "aliens" theme, but for some reason it reminded me a lot of this:
I think you're mistaking posting style for 'I can't stop posting my opinion no matter what.'
Isn't that what everyone does
I mean when you're complaining about someone's posting style you are also posting your opinion sooo
Holy shit.
The Game of Love is the sequel to Something About Us I've always wanted.
I wish Georgio didn't have the talking over it, it's just weird. Other than that it's pretty awesome.
that could still be considered a posting style

It's not a posting style, it's being obnoxious. A posting style is when you have a certain persona, gimmick or theme. Unless you're trying to apply your name to others I don't think you have a posting style.
Holy shit.

This so fucking much, albeit a little sadder. Made me want to reconsider my current relationship v:v:v
Isn't that what everyone does

Sure. But I've made one comment. I've not posted endless videos (In atleast two daft punk threads) of better posting styles and decided that my posting style is better page after page. I wouldn't even be responding if he didn't ask a question.
Holy fuck I'm diggin to Doin' It Right.
Lose Yourself to Dance is pretty funky.
Definitely one of my favorites so far. I don't have time to listen to all the album toniiigghhhtt bah
the only acceptable thing is to listen to the entire album all in one go
I like it, Its a pretty good. Its a very chill album, I mean it is something that you can very easily put on and let it play. I really enjoyed it. It does not sound like the other albums which is fine for me.
