I really want to hear this song, whatever it is. A finished version by whoever came up with it or something. I'm bummed it wasn't on the album, as awesome as the real Lose Yourself to Dance is.
This is pretty awesome, better than most of the dp songs on their new album heh.
I really like the album, but I do wish it was, well, I don't know, more electronic like I'm used to? I mean, it's leaps and bounds better than Human After All, but I think it's missing something. Still excited to get it on release though.
I really like it.
Yeah I enjoy it. Doin' it Right has been playing in my head all day.
Great album
I like the songs by themselves but I'm really not enjoying the vocals. Giorgio is fucking great yet it has that annoying monologue at the beginning, what's the point?
I guess it's too much to hope for instrumental versions?
xzibit's 'at the speed of life' was a much better album than random access memories imo
hmm ram is already on spotify, just not published.
that's the link but it gives me an content not available message atm

What really shits me is when I read an interview in which Daft Punk themselves stated that this new album would bring back a golden age and that it no album had ever sounded like this one.Seriously there are so many good electronic acts that deserve the praise and hype that Daft Punk gets and doesn't always deserve, for them to state that there are no good electronic music bands is incredibly arrogant and egotistic and if that's really their attitude they should get the hell out of the music business
These albums completely blow RAM out of the water to me.
You can't really say that all other artists just aren't trying to push anything through, that's just stupid. I've heard so many electronic albums that were complete breakthroughs. They can't seriously be saying that this is better than any of the albums above, or (even worse) that they're the only ones who are trying to really launch something.
i'm just waiting for the inevitable and awesome remixes that will be made from guys like Hardwell and Armin, particularly the vocals in Touch and Get Lucky i can see being remixed into some sickening EDM songs
I know a lot of people are disappointed with this album, but I personally enjoy the style of the music and the way it was presented. It isn't the best album I've heard, but I've really enjoyed the emotion it conveys. It's a really chill album.

I'll find the link where they said that nobody tries to make ambitious universal music anymore and how they're the only ones recently who have tried to make an album that will be regarded as a classic
steam blew out of my ears hearing it
Even if there's a lot of criticism around it, this album stirred the world. I absolutely love Daft Punk.
thank marketing for that
..and their previous success.

Yes, I agree.

some weird tweaky parts but overall it's not bad if you were looking for more energy, yet still relaxed
I don't think they ever really said that. Exaggeration.
Yeah okay sure buddy
edit - btw I did quote this so why did you bother editing your post lol how silly
R&F: IN SEARCH OF AN ENDED ERA, THE ONE OF THE STUDIOS…

Daft Punk: Exactly, to try to find back a know-how ability. Careful here, we’re not trying to go back in time. We just try to find again that invisible line between classics. We wanted to break the curse, show we could still make today an enthusiastic, ambitious album. Even if the present climate is totally pessimistic, depressing, cynical. We propose a generous thing, innocent and very free. However if we take a look at the pop and electronic scenes, we can see that this concept of liberty has been somewhat lost. Nobody tries to push the boundaries.

R&F: LISTENING YOUR ALBUM, WE DISCOVER 73 MINUTES OF CREATIVE MADNESS. A BIT LIKE WHEN WE LISTENED WITH ACID TO TODD RUNDGREN’S “A WIZARD, A TRUE STAR”. IT’S LUXURIOUS, FULLISH… IT PLEASES US TO KNOW A BAND CAN STILL DARE THIS KIND OF THING…

Daft Punk: The idea of “still can”, it’s exactly that. We tried to see if it was still possible. Nobody never tries anymore. Why? Lack of material, of ambition, of wanting, even the three? In the meantime, the know-how gets lost, an economy crumbles, a general discouragement wins. And then the weight of the great classics is heavy.

R&F: AND SO, IT’S YOU THE ROBOTS, THAT’S GOING TO STOP THE AUTOMATIC PILOT OF POP MUSIC?

Daft Punk: It would be classy, no?

Thank you Daft Punk for saving music
Good for them for doing something completely new, but I still want some more house music from them
I really like this, but then again I also enjoyed Human After All. I wish people could just stop fighting and enjoy what's given.
This was a good album.
Human after all was better
I'm not big into Daft Punk but I really enjoyed this album. I can understand while longtime Daft Punk fans would be disappointing since it's not really the same as their old stuff, but it's a really good album.
Fuck everyone this album was great and I feel really shows their versatility as artists. I loved every track thoroughly.
I think what people don't realise is that every album is completely different anyway so there's no point bitching if the next album is a different style.
In my opinion, it doesn't sound vocoded anymore, it sounds autotuned which upsets me.
I liked this a hell of a lot more than Human After All. Contact is immense (not sure how else to describe it)
Can't wait to see what they do with it live.
