Not that I think you're wrong, but would you mind providing a few sources? I was always under the impression that people matured (and died) more rapidly before the modern era, and that during the Middle Ages or Renaissance a teenager could be close to fully developed physically. I could be totally off so I'm curious. Wasn't Juliet supposed to be thirteen in Shakespeare's play?
