Conscription would be introduced, fat kids excersise until they can pass BT and then any that refused are sent to prison. That's my kind of state intervention.
Next law: Farting is banned. everyone must have a tube shoved up their arse that drains farts.
Urh, just let the god damn parents decide what their kids eat.
I wish it was that easy. Too bad parents don't seem to give a fuck if their kids are fat anymore.
Oh lawl. What the fuck this is. Happy meal oys are esstential to alll six year olds life.
Yeah seriously I wouldn't have lived without the full inspector gadget happy meal toy assembly thing [editline]05:11PM[/editline] This was the shit
those toys suck
Kinder Surprise's toys are better.
Didn't they just ban trans fats?
Lawl.. McDonalds, Those toys are crap that break easily. I threw one in the wall and it smashed into 1000000 pieces.
Always hated those toys. Especially if there was like a series, and I always got the same fucking toy!!
Always hated those toys. Especially if there was like a series, and I always got the same fucking toy!!
If that happened to me I just went up to them and asked for a different one.
‘This ordinance prevents restaurants from preying on children’s love of toys to peddle high-calorie, high-fat, high-sodium kids meals,’ he added.
I think its also the high-calorie, high-fat, high-sodium kids meal that the kids are after, but go ahead, you ban your shit and tell people how to live their lives. While you're at it, ban alcohol and tobacco. Who really believes they will offer more nutritious food now that they can't put toys in there? Because its so much tastier? The toys are banned anyway no matter what food they serve, so why would they even bother? If the toys are really the only reason children go there, why would healthy food get them back? If they would ban stupid people, we would have an empty planet.
Meh. Why should we care? Are we children who eat happy meals? Does anyone *really* have strong feelings about toys in happy meals? Isn't that more of a problem than this is? Then again, it really is none of their business banning these toys. It really should be the parent's responsibility to look after their child's diet. If anything, they should put a levy on the toys and put that money towards teaching parents about proper diets for their children. I assume the people who will be affected this are probably fat parents or fat kids with fat parents.
Hey Parents, I know a lot of you are asking "How can I help my son eat healthier, all these fast food options are only degrading his health!" Dr. Tigster has an answer! "Learn to fucking cook" Seriously. If parents would take the 15 minutes it takes to get to McDonalds and back, and use it to cook something at home, their kids would get a balanced meal, minus all the horrible shit they put into the food at fast food joints, AND an added bonus of everyone eating together.
Meh. Why should we care? Are we children who eat happy meals?
Thats a really dumb point of view.
Thats a really dumb point of view.
Yeah, I agree, but it's true. [editline]02:44PM[/editline]
Who really believes they will offer more nutritious food now that they can't put toys in there? Because its so much tastier?
This is a pretty dumb conclusion. The point of the toys is to get the children to guilt the parents into buying it. Take away the toys, take away that bit of pressure to buy them the food.
The kid will be back for more.
i c wut u did thar
I wish parents wouldn't fucking suck so much so we wouldn't need to deal with this in the first place.
One of my babysitters way back when loved collecting Macdonalds toys. Was a little weird actually, since she was like 35 years old.
I can't help but think that if they went back to generic toys(in this case, Mcdonald land things) instead of toys based on whatever cash leech movie/franchise the kids are into this hour that kids apparently wanting Happy Meals all the time wouldn't be as big an issue. When I was a kid, I was never really big on kids meals myself. Yeah, like every other kid I originally wanted the whole set of Fast Macs. Then after getting the first I learned they were all basically the same and dropped the whole happy meal thing.
Ban toys in Happy Meals: People saying this is a horrible thing and people should choose what their kids eat. Change packaging and raise taxes on cigarettes: Good thing, the government shouldn't have to pay health costs of those who smoke. Double standard much?
First were legalizing pot, and now this.. I love my state :)
Well, California legalized pot, so I guess they have to ban something to keep the balance.
No, I agree with the cigarettes, they kill people, but banning a toy from happy meals is pointless. There is no parallel between the two.
Toys make kids want Happy Meals. Happy Meals make kids fat and kill them.
