• California bans Happy Meal toys due to fat kids

Fat people are ruining EVERYTHING. I can't drink my pop in school. I can't buy things to further degrade my health. This sucks. They should just ban fat people from buying that shit so us skinny people can still clog our arteries. (Just an FYI, I'm 5'10 and 125lbs.)
FYI it's only unincorporated parts of Santa Clara county, not all of it. However, it sets precedent, so others might follow suit.
It's Burger King but related, remember this?
holy fuck yes. I still have the container (cept its now used to hold change) but I lost the golden thing. Mine had a poliwhirl on it
Although I think the government shouldn't be able to interfere in this, I think it's kinda a good thing. (Supersize Me brainwashing ect ect)
Ban toys in Happy Meals: People saying this is a horrible thing and people should choose what their kids eat. Change packaging and raise taxes on cigarettes: Good thing, the government shouldn't have to pay health costs of those who smoke. Double standard much?
There's a massive difference between raising taxes and banning. Besides, smoking is non-essential. Happy meals are food, shit food that isn't good for you, but food nonetheless, and food is required for survival. Which basically ends all arguments between the two. Not that I'm taking sides on it. Just pointing the difference out.
Waiting so eating the toys makes kids fat?
This is a pretty dumb conclusion. The point of the toys is to get the children to guilt the parents into buying it. Take away the toys, take away that bit of pressure to buy them the food.
Thats not my conclusion, thats obviously theirs. They said they expect them to offer more nutritious food now that they took the toys away.
Swartzenegger forgot what it was to be a kid :saddowns:
And Arnold is probably vastly stronger and more athletic than pretty much anybody on facepunch. Just saying this because someones gonna say something about Arnold being fat and old after seeing that.
I wonder how children will develop without all that lead poisoning.
California being retarded yet again. Are they in competition with Australia. Also I thought kids needed high calorie diets since you know they're growing n' stuff.
California's being stupid now. They've been taking the best things of my childhood, one by one. First it's M Rated games being sold to children being banned, now it's the Happy Meal toys? That's it, I'm packing up and moving to Arizona
My little 2 year old nephew is going to be pissed.
I remember going to the drive-thru and telling my mom "MAKE SURE THEY GET THE BOY TOY" and when they didn't give me the right toy, I would make her go back through.
Because children are the ultimate deciders of what they eat, right? Wrong. Parents need to get a grip.
I sometimes buy a kids meal at McDonald's just for their little burgers. Something so plain about it makes it tasty. plus I can throw the toy at people when I'm bored.

i'm too old for those toys, therefore I don't give a fuck.

This is why kids can't have nice things. Because of fatties. The stupidity runs deep.
Yeah seriously I wouldn't have lived without the full inspector gadget happy meal toy assembly thing [editline]05:11PM[/editline] [IMG_thumb]https://www.happytoydepot.com/images/store/items/inspgadget.jpg[/IMG_thumb] This was the shit

It's Burger King but related, remember this?
How can people think this is a bed idea? McDonalds fucking lure kids to eat there shit and hell american parents are retarded to.
But that's the beauty of our country. You can do the most retarded or wrong thing possible and make money from it, and it will be completely legal.
Only good toys that ever came out of McDonalds imo.
Maybe they should ban Coffee too.
I'm neither against this nor for it... The government should not be making these kinds of decisions, after all, if the parents would stop buying little johnny a happy meal every time he asks for one, then we would not have these kinds of problems. I don't know, maybe it's a good thing, those toys are total shit anyway.
Just cause you never got the blue one. :smug:
Because limiting the consumption of mcdonalds should be up to the goddamned parents. The government shouldn't have to breastfeed them. [editline]03:55PM[/editline] All nanny laws are terrible
Like the nanny laws that forbid us to put whatever substances we choose into our bodies?
Oh, it's the toys that are luring kids, sure. Well, I guess they'll have to stop their theme park roller coasters as they promote motion sickness.
