Because everyone knows that atheists have trademarked logic and reason, and are the only ones capable of using them. /s
do you even know what those words mean
do you even know what those words mean
Yes he knows. He's making reference to how atheists and other thinkers criticized religions through history saying people who followed them were irrational and illogical etc etc. That's why the trademark sign. I don't see anything dumb in his commentary.

I don't see anything dumb in his commentary.
it doesn't appear that either of you actually have a grasp on what the words mean. the definition of logic is: reasoning conducted or assessed according to strict principles of validity making no debate for or against anything here, this is the opposite of religion. 'strict principles of validity' do not include blind faith, which is required for essentially every religion. as a follower of a religion, you're expected to have faith that your god/messiah/leader is real and will protect and guide you. this is what defines you as a religious person. if you followed a religion only because you believed it was indisputably true, then there's nothing religious about that at all. that's just a simple mistake resulting in incorrect beliefs. religion and logic are polar opposites. logic in practice is believing only what can be proven, disbelieving only what can be disproved. religion is believing what you feel to be true, following a path you believe to be linked to you in a metaphysical way. furthermore, it's universally believed by people of all religions that 'god' is a being drastically beyond our level of comprehension. how can man made mental facilities like logic and reason be applied to something our brains aren't even capable of understanding?
