MSNBC is made to retract their lies, thus exposing them. If Liberals can't Trust MSNBC, why should they continue watching?
because most sane liberals dont? also the irony of glabber posting this story to be uppity about liberal media is hilarious when you read this article about faux news:
Media Matters for America, which bills itself as a "progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media," cataloged what it called the ten most "egregious examples" of "distortion" by both Fox News and its TV personalities.[65] Criticism includes several examples of cropping quotes from President Obama, Vice President Biden and Vice President Gore so they appear out of context, using image-manipulation software to edit the appearance of reporters from The New York Times and using footage from other events during a report on the November 5 Tea Party rally in Washington, D.C.; Media Matters said the intention of Fox News was to make it appear as if a larger number of protesters attended the event. The group also called attention to the December 4 edition of Fox and Friends, accusing the program of misleading its viewers with a "questionable graphic" showing the result of a Rasmussen Reports climate-change poll totaling 120 percent. In November 2009 Fox News anchor Gregg Jarrett told viewers that a Sarah Palin book signing in Grand Rapids, Michigan had a massive turnout, showing footage of Palin with a large crowd. Jarrett stated that the former Republican vice-presidential candidate is "continuing to draw huge crowds while she's promoting her brand-new book", adding that the images being shown were "some of the pictures just coming in to us.... The lines earlier had formed this morning". The video was actually taken from a 2008 McCain-Palin campaign rally. Fox senior vice president for news Michael Clemente issued a statement saying, "This was a production error in which the copy editor changed a script and didn't alert the control room to update the video". Fox offered an on-air apology the following day during the same "Happening Now" segment, expressing regrets for what it described as a "video error" with no intent to mislead. Fox also apologized for fabricated quotes attributed to John Kerry in an article on its website during the 2004 presidential campaign, stating that the piece was a joke which accidentally appeared on the website.
oh and this:
A leaked memo from Fox News vice president Bill Sammon to News staff at the height of the health care reform in the United States debate has been cited as an example of the pro-Republican party bias of Fox News. His memo asked the staff to "use the term ‘government-run health insurance,’ or, when brevity is a concern, ‘government option,’ whenever possible". The memo was sent shortly after Republican pollster Frank Luntz advised Sean Hannity on his Fox show that "If you call it a public option, the American people are split. If you call it the government option, the public is overwhelmingly against it".

Do you have any news sources that call out CNN for editing a video to present a false narrative? Otherwise I still don't see how it's relevant.
CNN, Fox do the same shit. That's how it's relevant. Do you choose to post threads about them? Of course not.
CNN, Fox do the same shit. That's how it's relevant.
Because the US is a giant two-sided argument.
You guys don't get it. the point is not the Bias, The point is that they Lied to their viewers again! When Fox News makes a bald faced lie its Tuesday. Or really any day that ends in Y.
I changed the title from what it was previously (Strike 3, NBC Caught Lying Again) to the title used on US News. Don't make inflammatory titles, especially not on a subject like this, and especially not from you, Glaber.
Actually, RT has straight fabricated stories in the past, and they love to post conspiracy theory bullshit from the likes of Alex Jones and report it as absolute fact. Al Jazeera however is normally really good about not doing this, hence why it is actually quite respected internationally.
i generally like rt because even though it's obviously biased and unjournalistic(or w/e), it gives a good alternative to the mainstream bullshit. it is a good challenge for the stereotypically liberal msnbc, stereotypically conservative fox, and stereotypically shitty journalism/corporate bias of cnn. al jazeera is another good source because it also challenges american media fairly well. basically i like my news varied and "alternative", american sources are shoddy; either in editing or just in the stories they choose to report.

Also "Popularity does not translate into integrity or knowledge. A December 2010 University of Maryland study showed Fox News viewers aren't merely the most uninformed, but the most misinformed. A November 2011 Fairleigh Dickinson University study found similar results, that people who watched no news were better informed than those who watched Fox News. Fox viewers were much more likely "to believe false information about politics." The study also revealed Fox News fans had a poor grasp of situations in the Middle East." well I guess if this is MSNBC's "Strike Three" Fox News must be bribing the umpire
well I guess if this is MSNBC's "Strike Three" Fox News must be bribing the umpire
Fox News' dad is the umpire.

CNN also cut to commercial while a pro-gun guy was speaking.
At least up here in Canada the media can't outright lie and doctor clips like this, no matter what their bias is.

'Oh yeah well somebody else is worse' is a pretty shitty defense for something like this
'Oh yeah well somebody else is worse' is a pretty shitty defense for something like this
Agreed. Fox News might be widely known as awful, but that doesn't excuse other stations, especially when most of them are seen to be more fair.
Stations like MSNBC and Fox News and CNN really deserve to be labeled, "politics stations," or something. The newscasters all pour their/their shareholders' opinions into every single piece of fucking news.
You are in no position whatsoever to criticize a news source for lying.
Everyone should criticize news sources for lying, though. In Denmark out main TV-channel is government-funded, but run interdependently. This limits bias pretty effectively, though it isn't always perfect.
