I barely slept at all since the wind was so noisy for me. It was pretty much constantly screaming.
ahahahah the fucking storm in southern sweden is ridiculous. I barely escaped a falling tree when i was riding my bike home
This is one of those times I'm happy to be in the North where the winds pretty high but not tree-fellingly, transport-interruptingly high.
and now it's heading here, it'll gonna bypass it overnight but i'm safe, because it'll only touch the coast
Anyone know when it's due to hit Bedfordshire if it hasn't passed already? I'm disgraceful when it comes to Geography so pardon me if I'm being dumb.

It passed by Denmark, was fairly violent actually. Moved our table from one end of the garden to the other. A few meters, but it's not like it happens often.
Hurricane passed northern Germany, pretty strong. Many trees knocked down, no trains, power outages, many many many roofs in my town knocked off. I just saw a complete roof lying on the street and then this: IMG_3135.jpg von Terranigmus auf Flickr [editline]28th October 2013[/editline] It's a petrol station sign.

I'm an ambient music producer, so naturally, this kinda thing is perfect. Here's a 2 minute recording of the wind on the night of the storm (2am~)
I can't even fathom the mindset one has to acquire to produce the music you produce. Mad respect.
some guy from my area made a video reporting the shocking events of the storm
Quite some deaths and damages in my area, northern Germany.
I'm finally back at home after two days without electricity. it took them two days to repair the lines here.
I dunno what you people are on about, hurricanes are fun. Other than people dying and losing their homes, going through a hurricane season is exciting. Then again I live in Florida where hurricanes almost hit us around 10 times a year.
