God fucking damnit, i'm supposed to be on a Uni of Plymouth survey boat searching for shipwrecks on Monday, that was literally going to be the highlight of my term. I doubt they'll even take us out at all never mind doing some in harbor work.

Up in Yorkshire right now. I will survive.
I live in wales, is anything actually happening outside?
I just sailed through that motherfucker on a cruise ship. We had to miss a port off because it was too rough to get in. Got some amazing video though!
what a good time to be in a house surrounded by TREES.
I live in wales, is anything actually happening outside?
Well you live in Wales so I'm going to guess its raining
Im right in the deadzone (Eastbourne) RIP Roof Tiles, You will be missed
Your avatar fits perfectly. I'm in the danger zone too I think. I'm in Derby. I'm sure we'll all survive.
I doubt its that bad, Its England after all. In any case I should be safe from flooding, living up on a hill.
That bad? in 1987 a hurricane managed to blow a ship so hard it beached it on the shore...
What the south calls a hurricane the north calls summer... ...And Scotland calls Monday...
Don't most of you all have brick houses? You'll be fine
Live cam of the shitty view from my window - Hailsham in East Sussex for anyone who is interested - apparently we're in one of the worst areas. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/bengley%27s-show
the wind blew the glass out of my wing mirror. I was parked. FUCK YOU WIND

Gusts of up to 80mph (130km/h) are predicted as the storm hits the South West then moves north and eastwards. There are fears of flooding, damage and disruption. One train company has already advised people not to travel. Prime Minister David Cameron tweeted to say he had chaired a discussion on plans to protect people from the storm.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-24690552
I can see that camper van in Bengley's stream there, I bet it will be blow away.
I can see that camper van in Bengley's stream there, I bet it will be blow away.
I hope so, fucking eyesore The worst of the storm is gonna hit around 1am I believe so there's not much going on at the moment. A bit windy, but it's pretty tame.
Is anyone else staying up and watching the storm in their area?

[editline]27th October 2013[/editline]
Is anyone else staying up and watching the storm in their area?
I'm going out to saltdean at about midnight - that's where the best sea conditions happen. North Devon Coast here, we're supposed to get hit the worst of everyone by this thing because it will still be partly over the Bristol Channel when it hits us. It was nice knowing you FP.
It's already a bit windy over here near London, but I know this is just the beginning; tonight is the night to batten down the hatches, stay indoors, and call in Kenny Loggins.
Don't know if it's been posted yet but I've been keeping an eye on this and it gives a good idea of where the storm is headed. It's updated every 15 minutes, and the storm seems to be moving at a pretty fast rate. Looks like it's just about to hit where I live.
Sound is enabled on my ustream now, the camera is in a soup tub and duct taped to the winowsill
Moved to Brighton this october, just in time to be killed!
How cute. I live in Florida, the weather changes so fast 5 minutes it's clear the next 5 it's a freaking hurricane.

Oh please don't cry, I live in a city where this is natural thing. Yes, people have rocks on their houses, but nothing terrible happened. Just stay home, if you don't want to be in a windy condition. Fastest recorded hurricane in my city was 171 KM/h (106.254474 mph) It's really pissing me off when I see people cry about 80 mph hurricane incoming to their land. And even that happens rarely. Try to live in my city, here's a true hurricane. Btw, the city is called Ajdovščina. Google it, if you don't believe me.
Really this again We've already argued to death about temperature, can't we just accept the UK is going to have a big hurricane and that's a bad thing?
Really this again We've already argued to death about temperature, can't we just accept the UK is going to have a big hurricane and that's a bad thing?
I hope Greendead realises that the UK wind speed record exceeds 140mph (228 KM/h)
Leicester here, it's already windy outside and there was some rain about 2 hours ago
