I'm on the west coast of wales, am i going to die?
Someone else on holiday in the west coast of Wales right now? Neat.
According to BBC News, a kid has been swept away by floods.
That's next door's shed, it can get blown away too for all I care! [editline]27th October 2013[/editline] I'm going out to saltdean at about midnight - that's where the best sea conditions happen. I was literally just in that exact spot 20 minutes ago, I live about a 2 minute walk inland from there I am now coated in salt, as is my camera I'll post some pictures if any of them were any good. Sky was the same colour as the spray so it didn't show up so well.

Has it already passed? We had a bit of wind and some rain but now it's just back to the usual grey skies as far as i can tell
I'm excited for this storm as if snow were falling. I think I've got a thing for carnage and destruction.
Has it already passed? We had a bit of wind and some rain but now it's just back to the usual grey skies as far as i can tell
Nope. 1am-7am is the 'fuck time' according to the Met.
It was a bit windy today in Scotland.
1am-7am is the 'fuck time' according to the Met
1am to 7am is usually my fuck time too
My mum is in a super panic about this storm and how we aren't prepared for a power cut despite the fact we have more candles in this house than in a candelabra display
According to BBC News, a kid has been swept away by floods.
Holy shit, how the hell?
Typical BMW driver braking on the outside lane of a dual carriageway
you mean the 'in a rush, fuck the speed limit lane'.
Typical BMW driver braking on the outside lane of a dual carriageway
He probably thought the camera flash was a speed camera
it looks like Britain is getting blown away
Might want to snip that
I'm sure the sea didn't look as menacing as in those photos, they are unrelated. Kids aren't generally the brightest of the bunch but I don't think I would have gotten myself into such a vulnerable position at that age. I hope they can find him but the odds are not favourable.
They closed the seafront road in Portsmouth and the uni closed some of the buildings off for tonight
He was swimming apparently. [editline]27th October 2013[/editline] Typical BMW driver braking on the outside lane of a dual carriageway
No doubt there's an Audi just out of frame getting ready to ride his arse.
it's hilarious how everyone thinks wind is going to blow down brick and mortar. if anything America would be worse off because of all the wooden houses. Everyone always blows these warnings out of proportion and seems to think it's the start of the apocalypse every time the met office tells us to be careful.
But parts of (brick) houses being blown down by wind is actually a common occurence when it gets windy in the UK..
It's literally still here East Herts, no wind. at all.
If Facepunch goes down, we know Garry is dead and that it's coming for me next. But I have noticed I can now hear wind outside of my window where I couldn't an hour ago.
