The way they exaggerated the wind and rain is pretty bad, I'm currently living in Gloucester (South West of UK) and the most I've seen is a few puddles.
Trains are fucked in the South East. No services running yet and when they are they'll be very delayed. Glad I took the day off!
Trains are fucked in the South East. No services running yet and when they are they'll be very delayed. Glad I took the day off!
I still have work today, most services are delayed or suspended, not a good day, I'd rather take day off.
Sweden is getting it tomorrow too. Gotten warnings about possible train problems later during the day. Nice to know i can leave my city in the morning and maybe not get back Already been really windy and rainy during the evening
It better fuck things up, I wouldn't mind having my upcoming exam cancelled. Who am I kidding, nearby nuclear reactor could meltdown and they'd still hold the exam at 8:00 sharp. Doubt it will do much in Stockholm anyway.
Brilliant, I have to be waiting outside at 6.15 tommorow morning for my bus. Then I have to wait in the street for my manager to open the store.... I fear no storm.
manly as fuck
Last time there were heavy winds, part of my uni's roof was blown off. :v: MY BODY IS READY
well here's a few of the pictures I took here in Saltdean yesterday, shitty white sky making the spray barely stand out [t]http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3715/10532736005_0db346b5c6_b.jpg[/t] [t]http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3759/10533164574_c5b6897818_b.jpg[/t] [t]http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5474/10533159606_6e91486869_b.jpg[/t] [t]http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3738/10533048095_fe340b54de_b.jpg[/t] [t]http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2858/10532756994_0dd3550cae_b.jpg[/t] [t]http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7369/10533130985_34a9247057_b.jpg[/t] rip red jacket man and his dog, drowned in the hurricane beach spooge
Get a polarizer, that always pronounces the sky a bit more.
It's raining pretty bad in Manchester but when isn't it?
Does anyone know the time it will hit? I am currently in Bath and will be heading up to Liverpool at 10am. Also, there are actually two weather fronts moving in. The second should be over the UK around Wednesday effecting Scotland more so than anywhere else.
Why you in Bath, were you at Westfest?
All that happened down here was some strong wind. It blew some trees. Not down, just blew them. Rustled the leaves a bit.
Mother reports that up in Henfield, 40,000 houses are without power because trees said "fuck it, let's shit on these ape-descended fucks for a larf"
My mum's mini greenhouse thing fell over and my garden is covered in plants and dirt and shit.
Traffic cone fell over up my way.
I'm in London and I have a lecture in an hour... ...In Liverpool ._.
Traffic cone fell over up my way.
Rip
well here's a few of the pictures I took here in Saltdean yesterday, shitty white sky making the spray barely stand out rip red jacket man and his dog, drowned in the hurricane beach spooge
These pictures are awesome. When I tried to go it was too dark and the tide was out so there was no epic wave action :(
Few broken windows in our tower, lots of rubbish outside.
Didn't notice jack shit
Few broken windows in our tower, lots of rubbish outside.
So, a normal day then?
A massive tree just outside the house was knocked down If the wind was going north-to-south that would've landed on the house and most likely killed me in my sleep.
I lost all power early this morning, just got it back.
omg i have a rainbow just appeared
I've heard it wasn't too bad anywhere, but the train lines all around my girlfriends house are down. I need to get to Clapham, then to Brighton. :v: Apparently, Brighton line is up and running, two trains every hour it says on the website, but people I know who've been travelling via that line have said the trains haven't turned up yet despite the service having been running for over an hour now. Doesn't matter much as apparently the vast majority of South West trains are down, so I couldn't get to Clapham to do the change yet anyway.
I looked outside and expected chaos, but saw nothing My internet is slow as fuck however, but that seems about it
4 people have now been killed by falling trees
4 people have now been killed by falling trees
Jesus christ, that's chilling.
Northerner here, most we had was wind and rain, now it's ridiculously sunny and nice.
Got a branch on my car side an hour ago. Scared the shit out of me
