I'm using the HDMI audio drivers from Nvidia since the drivers for my sound card won't work at all and to be honest... they sound like utter shit on my monitor. Hell.. a lot of my sound relating stuff doesn't even work including my headset.

Are we only allowed to say positive things about Windows 8 in this thread or something? I'm running it now and have been for months. It definitely has a bastard UI by default. That being said, it has just enough redeeming qualities and it's easy enough to work around to keep me from going back to 7. I haven't kept up with 8.1 so I'm hoping it fixes some of the plain stupid design errors.

I can't even connect to the store to update at all. It just says "We weren't able to connect to the Store. This might have happened..." and I'll click try again and all it does is quickly flash and nothing changes. Frustrating.
