I've been bit by one black widow and it was the fucking worst pain I've had arguably. Left a scar and shit 19 sucks dude [editline]23rd July 2011[/editline] scary video
At least it was one spider 19 times and not 19 spiders.
The most scared I've ever been of spiders was one night when I was up at three or something using my desktop, all lights off, and I see the black outline of a gigantic wolf spider running down my screen, and then jumping off to the desk in front of me. I hurled myself backwards in my wheelie chair as far as I could go. Also, once we had a slightly smaller than palm sized brown recluse running around our house. My dad dubbed it the Überspider, and we laid glue traps under everything for weeks. It kept appearing for a couple seconds every three or four days, until one night I got into the shower, did my customary check under the shower mat, and the thing was just sitting there, knowing its time had come, defying me with its beady little eyes. I freaked the fuck out and obliterated it after a short chase, but the memory of lifting up the mat and having that thing under it gives me chills. Goddamnit Tucson.
Time to freak everyone out in this thread
This is why I took up skydiving. It's the only time I ever feel safe since reading that.

I am honestly not afraid of anything except spiders.

The little bastards don't bug me so much anymore, but the big or pointy ones still do...
Read the title and thought 'Black Widow. That isn't such a deadly spider.' Then I remembered Black Widow is the american name for the Red Back. That shit's dangerous.
This would be a really good indication that you'd need a doctor.
I never got the people that thought they were a badass for not seeing a doctor.
I saw a big one of these in our vegetable garden the other day. I let it crawl on to the end of a long stick and touched it against the electric fence.
I would hate to die like this.
Buddy of mind found one in his shed. Pulled out his Taurus Judge .410 and blew it into the next county. Along with part of his shed's wall.
Time to freak everyone out in this thread
I've seen that before, and logically, it's bullshit. Seriously think about all the places in the world that is nigh impossible for a spider to be within 3 feet of you.
They're probably brown recluses, black widows have a painful bite that can cause abdominal pain. He didn't even realize until much later, so it's probably not the case.
Okay, okay...I'll spell it out for you dweebs.
Black Window Spiders grow as big as your palm.
Hyperbole, anyone?
I've got widows in my backyard. Caught one in the house a few years back when I was a little kid. Dad put it in a jar, but it had an egg sac and the eggs hatched and the babies were crawling through the air holes, all 20000 thousand of them. :(
I call bullshit. A black widow wouldn't bite him 19 times. It would bite him once - only if it felt threatened - and then leave. Black widow spiders aren't aggressive by nature.
This whole thread is making my skin crawl, OH WAIT IT'S A FUCKING SPIDER ON MY ARM AAAAAAAAAAAGH! GER IT'S BITTEN MY 19 TIMES AGGH!
you guys all better be thankful that we australians took all the deadly species and left you with the tame ones when evolution was dividing up the animals
You forgot the Gila Monster, Western Diamondback, and Brown Recluse.
Okay, okay...I'll spell it out for you dweebs. Hyperbole, anyone?
Either you're lying to cover up your misinformed post, you don't understand hyperbole, or you really suck at it. Pick one.
No spider powers for him.
Gah fuck, i remember these fuckers. One was in my shower so i smashed him
Whenever I see a picture or video of spiders, I take my feet off the floor :(
Or your body makes the tickley feeling like something is crawling on it even though there is nothing there.
You forgot the Gila Monster, Western Diamondback, and Brown Recluse.
You forgot the deadly Westboro Baptist. Just can't seem to get rid of them.
I bet he wanted to turn into spiderman.
Black Widow Spiders grow as big as your palm, approximately.
Lol no they don't. Not even close.
You forgot the deadly Westboro Baptist. Just can't seem to get rid of them.
They're not necessarily deadly, just annoying. Kinda like gnats. Big, attention-whoring gnats.
I thought that Black Widows were the most poisonous spiders in the world?
