Anyone who votes in a clinton v trump election would be contributing to the problem. Id rather have a comical asshole sadist than a lying bitch cunt of a woman who should have been assassinated years ago
For what? What crime?
People voting for Trump will also be supporting the logging of American citizens into databases based on religion and race, the opposing of net-neutrality, extension of the Patriot Act, censoring of the internet.
Isn't that some serious red flags, especially for you Americans who value free speech and freedom on the internet. I recall the net-neutrality issue being a huge thing. But apparently it's already been forgotten.
we are dealing with children who are throwing their toys out of the pram because they haven't gotten their way
logic doesn't enter in to it. It's pure spite.

SORT FOR NEW!
He also wants to commit war crimes. Or has he backtracked on the "you have to go after their families" idea too?
What does that have to do with what I was quoting?
The amount of misinformation people put out about Trump just annoys me given there's plenty of actual reasons to bring up, like with killing terrorists families or torture.
I am loving the 'unelectable' logic. The DNC should recognise that their frontrunning candidate is unelectable, and therefore nominate someone who got less votes? Like her or hate her, she's winning the nomination fair and square.
She is, it's just that there are some super salty fucks in this thread that refuse to agree about that.
I really don't know who to vote this year. Both of the options are awful for different reasons.
If it's Hillary v. Trump which it looks like it's going to be the blatantly obvious choice is Hillary
The desire for more honest, left wing politicians like Bernie has already been made apparent, there is absolutely no need to vote for Trump to drive that point home. We NEED the Supreme Court justice appointments that Hillary would give us and I am simply not risking the lives of others by voting for Trump.
How fucking childish do you have to be to vote Trump because Hillary wins
Im not even judging the people who actually like Trump and were going to vote for him on their personal (albiet disagreeable) views.
I swear there ought to be a maturity test for voters or some shit, too many people of voting age are fucking dumb
Anyone who votes in a clinton v trump election would be contributing to the problem. Id rather have a comical asshole sadist than a lying bitch cunt of a woman who should have been assassinated years ago
Not cool dude, she's still a mother, daughter, and a human being.
Anyone who votes in a clinton v trump election would be contributing to the problem. Id rather have a comical asshole sadist than a lying bitch cunt of a woman who should have been assassinated years ago
"lying bitch cunt of a woman"
Your vitriol and misdirected hate impresses even me.
The country will go to shit, but at least I'll still have my principles.
As apposed to a fucking facist nut getting the country and her military and nuclear missiles because people like you are just super salty that Sanders didn't win? FUUUUUUUCK THAT!
So do something about it then. That's all we want: for people to get up and do something about it and to take responsibility for their country and their lives. Either we'll get that by electing Sanders, or we'll get it when things get so bad with Trump we're left with no other alternative.
That's why we'll go Trump: because people will do something about it if he becomes president, and we will get change. He's hated, he's a clown of a human being, and he'll make us a joke in the eyes of the rest of the world and run the country into the ground because he has no idea how to govern and dictate economic policy. His healthcare plans are projected to cost us a shitton of money and leave 21 million people without insurance; that's just a taste of what we'll get with him in terms of his policies, and look at how badly he inflamed Chicago the other day. That's what it'll come down to with him, and we'll all be better off for it in the end when we have a reckoning happen.
Lost? Lol it aint over
You're very hard to take seriously.
what does postal win
I also told everyone his unimpressive 1st Super Tuesday showing pretty much sealed his fate
He wins my eternal reverence as almighty God
Honestly, I thought his chances were pretty small, going into tonight. With a 30 point margin in FL, and if that 30 point margin in OH holds, there's no way.
an unpopular truth:
Hillary is a totally fine, respectable candidate who has been the victim of a smear campaign by the right that's been fomenting since she lost in 2008 since there was no secret she'd run again after Obama's presidency
Yes, all of the times she has changed her positions repeatedly were really just misunderstandings.
The Benghazi thing was, but that has nothing to do with why I don't like her.
This is so wrong where do I begin
let's address this one at a time
"Anyone who's voting Trump is a horrible person." I would say they are misguided and scared, with only a few being actual assholes. Not true.
"You're saying, in effect, that minorities should be deported for unconstitutional reasons," It's perfectly legal to deport any illegal immigrant in the country. Minorities that are citizens are safe. Not sure about refugees. Democrats and some Republicans just recognize that sometimes policy trumps law, meaning that it is impractical for a thousand reasons to blanket deport 12 million people, leaving their american citizen kids without parents, etc, and that it is therefore more logical to tackle the problem in another way. Unclear.
"that America should further become a warmongering country wasting billions on the military," I'd argue that this is the status quo of any elected president since Reagan exploded the budget. Trump is actually less of a hawk than the other Republicans, and possibly Clinton, although he would not touch the military budget. Not True.
"that the poor should die because they're poor," Trumps healthcare plan would kick 21 million people off of their current plans. This could easily kill a few of them. True.
"and that the rich should get richer while the poor are pushed deeper into poverty." Trump's tax plan would make inequality worse. True.
SO this is actually half-right, not "so wrong"
half-right is pretty good, much better than pretty much anything Trump has ever said
Whatever, nothing in my day to day life will change if Hillary is president instead of Obama. I wanted some Bern action and I am depressed, still writing in a candidate because I can't stand to be part of her fake movement. I mean yeah Trump is bad and I wouldn't vote for him but I just have to vote in someone i believe in, not the lesser of two evils
Yes, all of the times she has changed her positions repeatedly were really just misunderstandings.
The Benghazi thing was, but that has nothing to do with why I don't like her.
Yep, nothing but misunderstandings. Also, she'll only be presiding over the continual decline of the country. Not a big deal.

Holy shit you guys are gonna have President Trump.

do you personally know people who will be harmed by all this
I do. I don't want to see them hurt.
there are better ways of making change than playing with the lives of your fellow americans.
If clinton gets the nomination i hope that not only does trump win, but also that he does irreversible damage to our great country. Its time the american people learned a lesson. Stop electing rich assholes. Shillary will not be president if trump gets the nomination. Shes fucking shillary
YOU'RE GOING TO FUCKING DESTROY OUR COUNTRY, in this moment that will affect our history for AGES, just because you're this salty?!
You're going to give a racist, bigoted, mother fucking facist THE Planet's most biggest, well-funded, most modern Military, with Nuclear Weapons, NUCLEAR. WEAPONS. as the cherry on top, control of our economy, the man who represents ALL AMERICANS, INCLUDING YOU on the world stage in front of all the nations of this beautiful earth we live on, The man in charge of one of a country that has stood stall for over 200 years.
Because you absolutely despite this one woman for simply being crooked, while you allow a man with failed businesses and absolutely ZERO experience in Politics to run our country.
You sir fucking disgust me at the density you hold before me on why you are going to lead this country to ruination.
Well, looks like I'm voting Libertarian then.
So do something about it then. That's all we want: for people to get up and do something about it and to take responsibility for their country and their lives. You know, I kind of understand where you're coming from. It almost makes sense...
But the damage someone as inexperienced and hot-headed as Trump could cause is too great for me to agree with you. If I had a similar choice while voting in my country I would rather someone who isn't completely insane be the president.
If it's Hillary v. Trump which it looks like it's going to be the blatantly obvious choice is Hillary

Honestly, I might just abstain from voting.
It's been a hell of a race.
People actually believe USA and Russia will nuke each other if Trump wins? Seriously? That's hilarious in a really sad and pathetic way. This can't be a real post.
It is a very real risk. This is the kind of stuff you should think about when picking who to hand the nuclear briefcase to. I did not say it was guaranteed - it is, in fact, relatively improbable. But when you multiply that low probability by the damage it will cause if it happens, it becomes extremely significant.
I have studied everything I can, not just about Trump's politics and platforms, because he's lying about half of them and making up the other half as he goes along, but also about his psyche. He is, at heart, a coward who compensates for it by being loud, a fool who plows through every obstacle with his sheer obstinacy. His only successful business records are his reality show, and his real estate trading - buying and selling properties in a market that literally cannot lose in absolute real value. He's got a spotty record just on buying a lot of land, putting a building on it and selling it or renting it to people. His airline failed. His mortgage company imploded. His university is facing fraud lawsuits. He is only successful because he's conned people into thinking he's rich and important - and he has played this con for so long that he's conned himself into thinking that it's true.
Now imagine that man, given real power, and faced with opponents who will not be fooled by his cult of personality. Forget Putin for a moment - will Trump's alpha-dog routine be enough to keep our allies together? What happens when he tries to negotiate a trade deal with Japan and "tries to win"? Trump doesn't know how to cooperate - he is a sociopath, in at least the common usage. He doesn't care about anyone except himself, and he sees everyone else only as tools he can use.
Now, maybe he's been able to slide by the world of real estate without running into any opposing sociopaths. But he won't be able to do that in global politics, because we're already enemies with some of them. And I have legitimate fears that things will go extremely badly for us once they do.
if trump gets elected I honestly see him getting assassinated. the country is in a really shitty spot
do you personally know people who will be harmed by all this
I do. I don't want to see them hurt.

Yes, including me.
I care about them, and I care about seeing the country actually be improved in the end, and if that means a period of painful internal strife and a national reckoning, then so be it.
And yeah there are better ways, such as voting for a decent candidate who has a clean record as an honest statesman and a genuine ability to lead masses of people and get shit done. We may have just thrown that opportunity away. There's no other alternative if that's the case.

As shitty as Trump is, I don't think he's going to get into office and immediately break out the nukes
What kind of logic is that. That's like saying a country that stops accepting more refugees will just start killing the ones they have because reasons.
i dont know what trump would do
im just saying it is not a good sign, and that i dont want to find out what he would do
I'm of voting age and will vote trump if clinton is a real threat.
As much as I want to blame a bad political system for America's problems I have to remind myself that the people would make stupid decisions regardless of how good the system is.
