Well anyone actual rational and is willing to form a real plan on ditching this country, message me. Moving to a new country isn't easy and most people here will not be accepted. To stand a even slightly better chance of moving to Canada, we need to come together and combine our net worth. Moving to a new country will be easier when you have the roommates to support the cost of living. Don't waste my time if your a fresh out of high school student or don't even have at least 1,000 in your bank. Donald Trump presidency is real, and its going to happen. Attacking Clinton will be the easiest task for anyone. Only if Bernie would have done that better.
In the short run it will be a lot worse. In the long run it will most likely create massive change as everyone will get screwed. If Trump sticks with how he is the world will backlash and American politics will have no choice but to change. Which should hopefully switch a lot of republican views at the same time. In short self destruct so a new thing can be built and arise.
you're talking about countries with nuclear arsenals pointed at each others' throats every other week, a "self-destruct" could mean the fucking apocalypse

Or maybe everyone will vote for Gary Johnson out of sheer spite, and we get a not-particularly-competent, borderline-sane president who at least shakes things up and breaks things that need breaking, without destroying the country. (But as a backup plan, I've got $10K in the bank, student loans paid off and Canadian ancestry. Might have to take you up on that if Plans C-G fail)
so if you guys can stop bitching about random crap, can anybody explain what this means for Sanders' campaign at this point in time?
you're talking about countries with nuclear arsenals pointed at each others' throats every other week, a "self-destruct" could mean the fucking apocalypse
Indeed it could but even with that threat I couldn't see anyone trying that on America outside of NK. They still have the biggest military force in the world.
so if you guys can stop bitching about random crap, can anybody explain what this means for Sanders' campaign at this point in time?
:dead: longer version: he's too far behind
The world is going to end I can't believe my favorite candidate isn't going to win etc etc we are all doomed I am throwing my firstborn out of the window as we speak.
so if you guys can stop bitching about random crap, can anybody explain what this means for Sanders' campaign at this point in time?
He is still not completely out of the running. In fact, the Missouri win was considered pretty unlikely, so he's beating expectations... but still not winning, and he didn't do as well today as he needed to. 538's plots for a Sanders victory needed him to win 320 delegates today, which he clearly didn't get, and he was behind already. A Sanders victory remains possible but increasingly improbable. He'll need to kick an incredible amount of ass in April to stand a chance.
Imagine a world where elections weren't so heavily influenced by funding where the only choice is between tweedle-dum and tweedle-hitler.
imagine a world where popular vote actually matters
so if you guys can stop bitching about random crap, can anybody explain what this means for Sanders' campaign at this point in time?
He's lost too much, the DNC won't stand behind someone losing this badly in the south, and he's an outsider to most of the US voters. No the "online activists" don't count regardless how big they sound.
so if you guys can stop bitching about random crap, can anybody explain what this means for Sanders' campaign at this point in time?
Florida, goal of 98, projected 60 North Carolina, goal of 50, projected 24 Ohio, goal of 72, projected 38 The other two states are still pending and rather close, but Sanders keeps getting destroyed in big states.
Imagine a world where elections weren't so heavily influenced by funding where the only choice is between tweedle-dum and tweedle-hitler.
Trump is self funding however, has spent among the least in his party.
Trump is self funding however, has spent among the least in his party.
Haha, no he took out loans to fund his campaign and is going to use the republican war chest to pay it back. He's hardly self funding.
Need to vote Trump now that The Big Man Bernie couldnt win it :/
Yeah, I'd rather Trump than Clinton. At least he's consistent
A serious post about moving to Canada if Trump wins. Heh, good luck with that.
Funnily enough your government was thinking about allowing Americans who want to leave an easier way to pass through the border.
Ok but I'm still right lol. People ditching the democratic vote like that to just vote on some random independent choice is just gonna help give it to trump. Do what you want tho obviously
Strategic voting only helps perpetuate the 2 party system that's fucking the Americans year after year with "shit and shittier" as the choices for representatives.
Need to vote Trump now that The Big Man Bernie couldnt win it :/
Why?
Yeah, I'd rather Trump than Clinton. At least he's consistent
no he's not lmao
no he's not lmao
more than her
Haha, no he took out loans to fund his campaign and is going to use the republican war chest to pay it back.
more than her
no no he isn't
This November America will not only elect the first female president but also the first president with dissociative personality disorder, so progressive!
Yeah, I'd rather Trump than Clinton. At least he's consistent
The only consistent things about Trump are his hatemongering and his bragging. He's backtracked on easily half the shit he's said, and he goes to great lengths to avoid taking actual positions on most issues so he can pander to the xenophobes and bigots.
Hilary wins all 5 states, she just passed Bernie in Missouri.
You can now look on Google if you want a breakdown of funding, just do "campaign finance X" [thumb]http://s10.postimg.org/m6dogmhg9/1458092604590.jpg[/thumb]
Go to the actual Federal Election Commission disclosure page, search for Trump, and click on the top result (ID P80001571). They don't let you link straight to search results, but I'm not going to ask you to trust me on this. Go do exactly that - you'll see I'm not lying about this. Federal Funds $0 Itemized Individual Contributions $1,870,992 Unitemized Individual Contributions $5,626,992 Total Individual Contributions $7,497,984 Party Committees Contributions $57 Other Committees Contributions $0 Candidate Contributions $250,318 Transfers from Authorized Committees $0 Candidate Loans $17,534,058 Other Loans $0 Those loans he has made to himself are repayable up until election day. He's going to loot the Republican war chest to pay himself back once it's too late to hurt his position. Feel free to search all other candidates. IIRC only Ben Carson used the candidate loans mechanism at all, and he used it only sparingly. Hillary actually contributed more to her own campaign than Trump has.
Strategic voting only helps perpetuate the 2 party system that's fucking the Americans year after year with "shit and shittier" as the choices for representatives.
And non-strategic voting only helps make the election less representative.
And non-strategic voting only helps make the election less representative.
What if neither of the likely candidates represent me.
yeah let's fight the leftist thugs by electing a meme
Deez Nuts?
I can't believe Bernie is continuing his campaign, he should have given up after the loss tonight
