Haha who? Trump has no substance to anything he says, that is highlighted in debates.
It's not like he ever needed to say anything of substance anyways to make it as far as he has already. All he needs to do is be a loud-mouth, point out Hillary's email scandal and build off of that.
Haha who? Trump has no substance to anything he says, that is highlighted in debates.
Kind of the point I guess; can't attack what doesn't exist. Though I think people see it more that Hillary has a mountain of dirt and Trump is a good speaker. I think a Trump vs. Hillary debate would be by far the most entertaining to watch.
Hillary is better at debating than Trump though. If that was his strong suit, he wouldn't be dropping out of them.
Meanwhile on /r/SandersForPresident
Sanders is a good man who would have made a great leader, and I understand the temptation to hold onto any thread of possibility that he could triumph in this borked election, but come on. He's done! It's over. There's a better chance of walking outside and being killed by a piece of space junk falling out of orbit than there is of Sanders taking the presidency at this point. I mean, I know it's r/SandersForPresident , but it's getting a bit depressing to see people still saying he win out, or even more awkwardly, that losing at every possible turn is actually somehow making his campaign stronger.
Hillary will almost definitely take the nomination, but I disagree with the sentiment that Trump is a done deal, as has been said in this thread. I see it as very likely that if Ted Cruz gets a close second, the party faithful will ultimately band together at the convention and overcome Trump.

So is Sanders going to carry this through to the end, taking donations even though he has little to no chance? It's just giving his supporters more false hope and getting them more disenfranchised with politics, his hardcore supporters already shut out all criticism of him and have elevated him to a messiah like level, I can't see them reacting well when it hits that Bernie's lost.
Sanders is a good man who would have made a great leader, and I understand the temptation to hold onto any thread of possibility that he could triumph in this borked election, but come on. He's done! But right now I'm more concerned about the folks saying they wanna vote for Trump just to fuck with the system, like it won't just attempt to empower the system more by voting for a corporate cartoon villain. All because Sanders didn't win :v:. All I can say is if you're a smart left leaning Democrat like me, then for Christ sake please just vote Hiliary. Worst she'll do is just have a mediocre, but safe and quiet 4 year run.
It looks like Bernie is polling favorably in the remainder of the states left to vote. Does he have any real chance? I'm seeing a lot of hardcore enthusiasm in r/SandersForPresident, with them saying how this is the "ides of March" and how now with his hardest states behind him, his strongest states are coming up next which will see an erosion of Clinton's lead. Is this just false hope.

Considering the last states are heavily bernie-sided, it's possible, though would be hard work. The complacency in the cesspit that is r/sandersforpresident won't help I'll say that much. Plus there's the fact that Clinton's lead is made up primarily of superdelegates. If Sanders gets a 100-200 pledged delegate lead (giving him popular support) then hopefully many delegates will go over to Sanders. If they don't then shit might hit the fan.
Basically this is his last chance to make it.

Martin;49911525]Honestly this election is confusing. One moment I keep Hiliary as my backup, then after shit like this happens several times and when it threatens to kick Sanders off, I get pissed and want to go for Trump. I haven't even read into Hiliary's stuff nor Trump's nor Sanders, I'm just going along with the flow of "Sanders is the best choice ever and I'd be stupid for not going for him." [editline]11th March 2016[/editline] What's worse is I try to relax and get my bearings straight, only to see Clinton do something again and make me worry moreso about her winning over Sanders.
Can't tell if you're just making a joke about being a responsible democrat, but yeah.
Basically this is his last chance to make it.
people have been saying this for weeks Bernie is done.
people have been saying this for weeks Bernie is done.
Again, not necessarily. Clinton has a pledged delegate lead of 300 delegates, and there's still over 2000 delegates yet to be assigned. Last states might easily make up a 300 delegate lead for sanders. I wouldn't say he's out of the race, but it's gonna be hard. Complacency is the Sanders' camp's biggest weakness.
I already toxxed that Trump will not win the general, might as well move it up. Hillary Clinton will win the 2016 US presidential election :toxx: Why do some people seem so convinced Trump will beat Clinton? He's massively unpopular and the head-to-head polls give Clinton a big lead over him, I don't know where people are getting this from.
that's not true, there's been plenty of polls that show trump kicking Clintons ass good night sweet prince
people have been saying this for weeks Bernie is done.
Mostly because people were expecting definitive yes or no answers instead of the 52-48 splits we kept seeing, keeping Bernie locked up in the "long shot underdog" category. It's been too difficult to determine exactly when he'd pass the point of no return, but I think people are starting to realize that we've just passed it. Nothing short of a miracle could change the outcome now- something like an indictment would do the trick, but I'm not counting on it.
Well a few days ago you were saying basically the same thing: Can't tell if you're just making a joke about being a responsible democrat, but yeah.
Just the thread moving fast n shit.
blah blah blah white single men blah blah blah ANIME
I really have a hard time understanding why SO many people support Hillary. Is it just "she's a woman!" thing? Or is it a "she's a Clinton!" thing? The only comments I ever see about her are that she's a liar. I can't think of one person i know who honestly really truly supports Hillary. It's strange.
I really have a hard time understanding why SO many people support Hillary. Is it just "she's a woman!" thing? Or is it a "she's a Clinton!" thing?
Pretty much what you just guessed.

Trump would just bring us back to Bush days where we were the laughing stock of the world for actually voting for him.
Hilary is status quo and bipartisan, people in this country also hate change of any kind. That's how bush got reelected in 04' I've accepted that this country isn't ready for someone like Sander's, at least not until the baby boomer generation fades

It's strange.
Don't think that turbofeminists who only care about a candidate's gender are an even remotely large part of the electorate. She's popular with black and latino voters for reasons I don't understand, and from what I can tell, she has a lot of pull with older, more politically moderate voters in both parties who think Trump and Cruz are buffoons, Sanders is a snake oil salesman, and that Rubio and Kasich are throwaway votes.
Right now, it's because Sanders isn't going to win, and Trump is too much of a unpredictable risk to go with. At worst Hiliary is a safe, stable, mediocre 4 years. It's not like this is the real election, this is the primaries. If you vote for Sanders even if you don't think he will get the nomination it doesn't mean that a republican is more likely to get elected. So where is the logic in your statement?
Having Trump elected would be much worse for America's international reputation than Bush getting reelected, at least Bush had experience, acted his age and was generally seen as pretty cool outside of politics. Meanwhile Trump has no experience, is dumb as shit and viewed as a complete arsehole by the rest of the world.
How can anyone support Hillary over Trump? Trump has been honest this entire time. I've followed Hillary and Bernie a lot, and I STILL cannot figure out for sure what she stands for. If you guys are going to vote democrat you should stick with Bernie. Bernie could actually beat Trump, but Hillary couldn't. For years the republicans have been trying to destroy Hillary. If it becomes Hillary/Trump then the republicans, and many democrats, will just either not vote or will vote for trump. Hillary is very corrupt and the only positive thing about her that I've heard anyone say is that she is a woman. I want to say there is more to her than that, but I can't. This is a horrible election with no real candidates. I'm still hoping that Trump drops out and Hillary goes to jail.
Hilary is the devil I know What plan does Trump have for this country? A disastrous healthcare plan or building a wall? He really isn't qualified to be the president But yes I would like Bernie to be president but he ain't gonna win

Trust us, 99% of people that want to vote dem here want Bernie, but he's probably not gonna be an option. You're right, though. If it becomes trump v hillary, hillary is going to get absolutely fucked by trump and it'll all be over.
