3/15 Primaries - "I can't believe it's not Bernie! ®" Edition, Paid for by Hillary for America
Having Trump elected would be much worse for America's international reputation than Bush getting reelected, at least Bush had experience, acted his age and was generally seen as pretty cool outside of politics. Meanwhile Trump has no experience, is dumb as shit and viewed as a complete arsehole by the rest of the world.
They already think every American is like that anyways...
Trump will do it just fine, we don't need an out of touch person with the american people and socialist in office.
We don't need a racist, inexperienced, failed businessman, who will divide the country into civil war. Don't worry JohnFisher89 though I'm sure you will enjoy it though.
I fucking voted for Sanders :v:.
Hilary was always my back up if Sanders lost though since she's better than Donald Rumsfeld Trump.
Let's make it clear for the whole thread.
Bernie Sanders did not win. Hilary won the Democratic nomination, there is no way around it.
It's really best to just get over it and just avoid a Trump victory at least.
You can say this but the rebuttles are:
"The states next are looking really good"
NY, PA, and MD are large delegate states that are all but guaranteed for Hillary
"Coming in Second was good enough"
Said no one ever in a 2 person race
"The superdelegates can still swing!"
No, stop this there is no reason to change for someone who is losing
The fear and idiocity around the Bernie supporters crying their hearts out reminds me how scared the GOP's acted when Obama was the DNC choice back in 2008.

He's not racist.
Inexperienced to running for President? Yeah okay, but he has great plans. Most other people running are also inexperienced at running for president, except Hillary.
Failed business man? You ain't even trying when you are making shit up now.
Divide the country into a civil war? Are you high? No state will leave the union based on the fact someone a large majority of young people liked didn't get into office.

This is the kind of stupid partisan bullcrap that leads to people like Trump getting nominated. Every 4 freakin years, it's "Candidate X will literally destroy America and kill everyone inside it." It was stupid as hell when Republicans said it in 2008, it was stupid when Democrats said it in 2012, and it's stupid with both parties saying it in 2016.
I'm f'ing sick of this crap posting in all aspects of politics. The President has nowhere near enough power to do what people say the other guy will do. The power lies with Congress.

Assuming the GOP doesn't go full retard, they are slated to win both the house and senate for Trump taking office. That linked with how well trump is at working lobbyist, he can get a lot of his plans pushed through rather quick.
It's going to be a great 8 years!

Will you people please stop typing these things like you're time travelers from the future who have already seen the nomination turnouts. Be as pessimistic as you want, just don't write things that are logically incorrect.

Sure you can go ahead and think no state would leave the Union if Trump is elected, but you'd have to be pretty delusional even for a Trump supporter, to think nobody would try.
California would and could leave. We'll just hold your imports from China hostage until you accept. Sure you could try to invade us, but that wouldn't turn out in your favor. We'll just give Apple's source code to china. We control two of the largest population centers in America, essentially the entire tech industry, as well as most of your specialized agricultural output, and we could mobilize if we wanted to, making you bleed until dry on money given to poorer States like in the South.

He suffered a defeat, but not nearly as bad as I was expecting, especially not enough to knock him out of the race. He can still win although it's unlikely.

No one will try it just like Texas and South Carolina didn't leave when Obama was elected even though Tea Parties Screams it would totally happen 100% 4 realz this time!!! back in 08 and 12. Look what happened, no one left no one is going to leave, and no one wants to leave. A state leaving would be bad for the US and ever worse for anyone in that state.
The rest of your rambling is so delusional I can't wrap my head around any of it

But it's the day after elections, it's over. Hiliary won the important states, that's all that matters.
If Sanders pulls out a surprise victory, then good for him, if not I was expecting it anyway.

Kind of like your rambling? Give me a reason I should support Trump when as LGBT college student he will look to screw me over twice?

The political and social landscape is entirely different than 08 or 12. Texas always says they're going to leave and nobody cares about South Carolina. California can and will do it, especially if we're forced into laws we don't support.

I'm not really sure what you where expecting. Sanders preformed extremely poor last night.
Let's vote for Jill Stein to split the democratic vote and ensure Trump becomes president! We'll be fucked as a country but at least we voted for who represented our views the most! :downs:
Yeah. If it is either not voting at all or voting for someone you support, Jill Stein is a great choice. I couldn't live with myself if I voted for Hillary. Jill Stein isn't splitting the votes. People who vote for Jill Stein weren't going to vote for Hillary anyway.
This is a WAY better option for the people who said they are going to vote for Trump because, 'fuck it.'
Kind of like your rambling? Give me a reason I should support Trump when as LGBT college student he will look to screw me over twice?
This is the exact type of person we'd want in California during the secession, and a perfect example of why California would leave.
The political and social landscape is entirely different than 08 or 12. Texas always says they're going to leave and nobody cares about South Carolina. California can and will do it, especially if we're forced into laws we don't support.
Your out of your mind if you think California could leave the US in any sort of way. Its just not plausible
I'm not really sure what you where expecting. Sanders preformed extremely poor last night.
He could have lost a lot more than he did. Like literally a 70 30 split.

I doubt states would leave in the event of a Trump presidency, it'd be fucking stupid as shit. There is a REASON none of the states that "wanted to secede" from the union when Obama won a second term didn't. It'd open them up for US aggression, it would open them up to aggression from countries that would have a much larger military than they'd have out of the gate (unless the california republic has been quietly building a large military of devote liberal californians who want independence). It would mean they'd have to re-do their budgets to compensate for not getting federal money or get anything from federal programs. It'd also mean they'd have to negotiate new trade deals and new alliances/embassy's. This also doesn't take into account the massive mess that would happen if you consider most states are very purple as opposed to solidly blue or red. If we take into account that if the electoral college, if it where split proportionally 20 or so out of 55 would go republican, you're up for a pretty big problem when a portion of the population of that size supported whoever the majority is so opposed to that they'd even consider something as stupid as secession. It just wouldn't work out well for them unless Trump literally does pull a hitler and holocausts the hispanics and muslims and brings about some sort of massive war.
Kind of like your rambling? Give me a reason I should support Trump when as LGBT college student he will look to screw me over twice?
Saying a state will leave the union and militarize itself is delusional.
I don't see how he will "screw you over twice" because I don't know the context in which you mean.
But it's the day after elections, it's over. Hiliary won the important states, that's all that matters.

What do you mean it's the day after elections? There are still a ton more states that have yet to vote.
Your out of your mind if you think California could leave the US in any sort of way. Its just not plausible
It wasn't plausible that Trump would be the Republican nominee, but look at that now. You may not understand how much California hates Trump and how much we could do if we left.
He could have lost a lot more than he did. Like literally a 70 30 split.
Your picking between terrible and really terrible. And he did do really terrible in Flordia
It wasn't plausible that Trump would be the Republican nominee, but look at that now. You may not understand how much California hates Trump and how much we could do if we left.
No it is plausible. There is a huge difference between someone with far right views getting the Republican nomination and a state leaving the US. The difference isn't vene comparable
It wasn't plausible that Trump would be the Republican nominee, but look at that now. You may not understand how much California hates Trump and how much we could do if we left.
Where have I seen this before? Oh yeah Texas, people where saying Texas HATES Obama and would totally leave if he won a second term. It didn't happen. Even Rick Perry thought secession was a damn stupid idea.
It wasn't plausible that Trump would be the Republican nominee, but look at that now. You may not understand how much California hates Trump and how much we could do if we left.
California leaving the union is just not possible. We aren't a confederacy.
This is the exact type of person we'd want in California during the secession, and a perfect example of why California would leave.
How? You don't know the context of how he is being "screwed over twice", so how do you know he is a good example if your example is baseless made on a succeeded state that would be poverty stricken and militaristic as shit.
Saying a state will leave the union and militarize itself is delusional.
I don't see how he will "screw you over twice" because I don't know the context in which you mean.
Well there you go folks, the Donald Trump supporter doesn't know what Trump stands for on social issues. I gotta go to work for 9$ a hour even though you probably don't see a liberal, young person that knows nothing holding a job. Expect my argument later tonight/tomorrow.
Well there you go folks, the Donald Trump supporter doesn't know what Trump stands for on social issues. I didn't say that, you said "screw me over twice" meaning you are personally affected by something directly that Trump is doing to you. Asking for you to define what you mean is perfectly reasonable since you gave no context as to what you meant. You also still didn't define what you mean? Are you talking about the minimum wage, LGBT stance, or your political views????
What do you mean it's the day after elections? There are still a ton more states that have yet to vote.
Bernie winning is improbable. Hes fell short of goals in every state save five. Hillary is over her target by 86 while Bernie is significantly under his by 150.

It's like I figured before yesterday. If Sander's loses, the internet is going to be in an upset for a while. There's no way to convince them otherwise, just let them go through the grieving process.

Of course the internet will be upset, Sanders is the only candidate that is pro-internet. Hillary wants to censor the internet and Donald wants to literally shut it down. :what:

lol it's illegal to secede from the union. people were talking shit about the south and that they can't do it.
You try that shit and the federal government will smack the shit out of you.
