so all the super delegates can jump ship at the end and make everything up till then redundant right?
Super delegates in the DNC is the party leadership. Clinton is the party favored, so they're not going to switch to Bernie, especially if Clinton is winning anyway.
I can't wait for all the salt when Bernie loses
I too cannot wait for one of the greatest military powers in the world to be governed by either a reactive emotionally unstable racist dumb idiot or an obviously corrupt criminally suspect person Hahah right feed me the tears of the free world lol
iirc obama won the popular non-superdelegate vote so they migrated over Unfortunately, the DNC doesn't support Bernie at all so they will likely not move over ever, even if he had won the popular non-superdelegate vote. For some reason, the DNC doesn't realize that Hillary stands literally no chance at all against trump and will do anything to burn Bernie
There's always plan b.
the DNC doesn't realize that Hillary stands literally no chance at all against trump and will do anything to burn Bernie
The DNC is counting on Panic Votes If Donald Trump gets nominated.

For some reason, the DNC doesn't realize that Hillary stands literally no chance at all against trump and will do anything to burn Bernie
It's weird how democrats think hillary vs. trump is a guaranteed win. Uh, it sure as hell isn't. I hear quite a bit about magical "panic votes" that haven't ever been quantified, so while we're making shit up, what if I say that democrats become utterly disillusioned and just don't vote when they realize who's running. Especially if it turns out she really IS a criminal.
Super Delegates are basically the DNC's way of making sure the status quo is met, keeps outside threats like Bernie from gaining power even if he has the popular vote. But things aren't looking great for him, so they won't need the Super Delegates to sway the vote anyway.

I love Bernie, but I'm pretty sure Hillary has a better chance against Trump than Bernie does. Bernie has the chorus of people crying about how socialism will ruin us whenever his name is brought up. Every time.
You think so? I love Bernie, but I'm pretty sure Hillary has a better chance against Trump than Bernie does. He'd hire PIs and dig up enough dirt to win three races, put out embarrassing (and probably hilarious) ads, and more. Hillary stands 0 chance because of trump's style.
Bernie has the chorus of people crying about how socialism will ruin us whenever his name is brought up. Every time.
And Hillary has her dishonesty, corporate friendliness, law breaking, and Benghazi brought up every time. Recently an article was ran that said she was unbearable in private, as allegedly claimed by USSS Agents. The agents also report that she hated military personnel, asking them to not wear military uniforms, and telling her children not to speak to "people like them".
Yeah I'm looking forward to all the salt when people realize that they'll have to choose between a lying felon and the corporate equivalent of a televangelist
Unless Cruz wins, in which case it'll just be an actual televangelist

Bernie has the chorus of people crying about how socialism will ruin us whenever his name is brought up. Every time.
When Americans are actually polled on what their beliefs are, they align much closer to Bernie than any other candidate. Even Hillary. And hey we elected a black guy with a "muslim" name last time who was most certainly a socialist (according to repubs), so I don't know if it's too far fetched.
Just voted in my District in NC. So many old people! Got a photo with a Judge candidate. Cool shit. Alos if you're in NC and have been turned away for not having an ID, or know someone who has been turned away call this number: 866-OUR-VOTE or 866-687-8683 and some non-partisan lawyers will assist in making sure you can vote (because laws allow provisional ballot voting as long as you sign some form or something so they can't actually turn you away).
You think so? I love Bernie, but I'm pretty sure Hillary has a better chance against Trump than Bernie does.
Not true. Check out this article: http://static.currentaffairs.org/2016/02/unless-the-democrats-nominate-sanders-a-trump-nomination-means-a-trump-presidency
Yeah I'm looking forward to all the salt when people realize that they'll have to choose between a lying felon and the corporate equivalent of a televangelist
Which one is which?
pls boat guise this is no joke i dont want to see trump or clinton to win
what if I say that democrats become utterly disillusioned and just don't vote when they realize who's running. Especially if it turns out she really IS a criminal.
You mean kinda like the Bernie or Bust pledge?
I too cannot wait for one of the greatest military powers in the world to be governed by either a reactive emotionally unstable racist dumb idiot or an obviously corrupt criminally suspect person Hahah right feed me the tears of the free world lol
Just about every president elected before then, I like the bern but I can't get excited over these things because the people in this country are hopeless.
I too cannot wait for one of the greatest military powers in the world to be governed by either a reactive emotionally unstable racist dumb idiot or an obviously corrupt criminally suspect person Hahah right feed me the tears of the free world lol
I'd much rather have Hillary Clinton in charge of the military than Bernie. Bernie's Foreign policy is crap
I'd much rather have Hillary Clinton in charge of the military than Bernie. Bernie's Foreign policy is crap
Why? He's pretty similar to Hillary when it comes to military affairs. Yet more interventionist shit.
Just voted, Illinois.
Why? He's pretty similar to Hillary when it comes to military affairs. Yet more interventionist shit.
He's absolutely not. He emphasizes coalition efforts to take the lead in foreign affairs, drawing back US military presence overseas, and more diplomacy. I think that none of these things are good for our country
I canvassed for Bernie some more yesterday in some pretty poverty stricken areas in North Florida. Maybe had 4 strong Bernies, 2 strong Clinton, and the other 20 were undecided. A lot of the undecideds I talk to just were discouraged about voting in general they seemed to like Bernie but didn't want to vote him for due to the "people behind the curtains not wanting him in."
I'd much rather have Hillary Clinton in charge of the military than Bernie. Bernie's Foreign policy is crap
Why do people keep saying this? Against iraq war from the start, against industry-killing trade deals from the start. VS "pay me enough ill support whatever you want me to"
He's absolutely not. He emphasizes coalition efforts to take the lead in foreign affairs, drawing back US military presence overseas, and more diplomacy. I think that none of these things are good for our country
Sounds better to me.
He's absolutely not. He emphasizes coalition efforts to take the lead in foreign affairs, drawing back US military presence overseas, and more diplomacy. I think that none of these things are good for our country
Good for the rest of the world.
I can't wait for all the salt when Bernie loses
/r/sandersforpresident is gonna be some of the funniest shit. I wanted Bernie to win but that subreddits pure cancer, its gonna be a really good night.
Congress wouldn't let the president scale back the military much further than it is right now so I wouldn't necessarily worry about our military strength under Sanders but for foreign affairs in general I'd feel happier with Clinton. She has had some issues but no Secretary of State has been perfect. Sanders meanwhile has little experience in that area and seems to mostly focus on domestic policy, which to his credit I have more confidence in than anyone else currently running.
He's absolutely not. He emphasizes coalition efforts to take the lead in foreign affairs, drawing back US military presence overseas, and more diplomacy. I think that none of these things are good for our country
Well then you just haven't been keeping up with, yknow, the world. Increased military presence in, for example, the middle east, only exacerbates the problem of radical terrorism, which will lead to more American lives dying. The only way you actually fight ignorant terrorists is with education and prevention, not drone strikes, and not cultural marginalization. Like we have twenty years in which most terrorists are motivated by "the west is doing horrible things to us, we must fight back," how are you not seeing this?
Good for the rest of the world.
Except East Asia, Africa, and European nations whos defense is subsidized by the United States.
I can't wait for all the salt when Bernie loses
There's benefits to bernie losing. More people will start to believe that there is something that is broken that deserves to be fixed.
