Hillary doesn't care what Sanders stands for either. That's the point.
She's still one hell of a lot closer than Trump.
A vote for Hilary is a vote for Trump. Ironic the most racist and bigoted candidate is being voted in by the minority. People are just too fucking stupid in this country to see she is not electable.
Do you want a raving lunatic, or a shady person who promised to keep the previous administration in place. An administration which has been nice and quiet, rather than the harsh rocking of the boat that Trump will no doubt do, as well as make us the laughing stock of America once again.
This is Hillary's best chance at getting the youth vote. It won't decide the election but it' clear A LOT of people support Bernie, so getting the combo down would maybe convince a lot of democrats to stick around and vote (That is, if the prospect of Trump running doesn't scare them straight)
This is a great point. A Sanders VP bid would be the biggest security against the fear that Trump could get the presidency by people electing not to show up after she gets the D nomination.
Take this test here https://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz You'll be surprised how similar Hillary and Bernie are when it comes to many issues.
99% Bernie 97% Hillary Also, exit polls showing Bernie slightly winning Missouri and Illinois.
Take this test here https://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz You'll be surprised how similar Hillary and Bernie are when it comes to many issues.
You're missing my point. Hillary has, for the moment, flip flopped to be very similar to Bernie, but who's to say she isn't going to flip flop right back away. She has no backbone; she doesn't actually stand for anything.
Welp looks like I'm giving my vote to the libertarians.
Congrats to Hillary, going by the early results. She will be a good choice in the Presidential election. I think we can all agree that this is a victory for democracy.
Really? I don't know. Define democracy.

It would be so sad its not even funny. If people think americans are dumb now imagine how the world will see us with him as the face of the country.
R.I.P Sanders, sadly... Was rooting for him because he's the only honest politician in this damn race that has stuck to his values forever. Gonna hate voting for Trump, really am. But I definitely am not gonna vote for Clinton.
No, don't vote for the unpredictable idiot just to spite someone, if you're a reasonable Left Leaning Democrat like myself, just vote for the person who at least promises to keep things stable in terms of all the shit Obama has accomplished so far.

Bernie is finished
i don't have any real problems with Hillary but i don't think her presidency would be any smoother or have any greater cooperation than a Sanders presidency. if anything, she would have a more difficult time getting.anything done when much of the GOP wants her in prison
You're missing my point. Hillary has, for the moment, flip flopped to be very similar to Bernie, but who's to say she isn't going to flip flop right back away. She has no backbone; she doesn't actually stand for anything.
I'm not going to disagree that Hillary has flip flopped in the past but to assume that once she's in office she's going to reveal her hooded face and surprise! She was actually Donald Trump in disguise all along is a pretty disingenuous thing to think (at least I assume that's what some people think here).
No, don't vote for the unpredictable idiot just to spite someone, if you're a reasonable Left Leaning Democrat like myself, just vote for the person who at least promises to keep things stable in terms of all the shit Obama has accomplished so far.
Yeah, like I posted earlier I honestly doubt I'd even come down to voting for Trump, and posted that without even thinking to be honest.
I imagine Hillary will do the smart thing and place Sanders as her VP. Assuming he will accept it. I think both of them recognize the importance of him sitting in that position though.
Actually that would be pretty badass. If Sanders was her VP then I would be totally right behind her. :v:
People are so pessimistic. Wait for the results. Florida seems lkke the only confirmed win fot shillary. The dnc will realize eventually that shes totally unelectable, and if they don't then trump wins. If shillary gets the nomination im voting for trump and theres nobody that can talk me out of it. I'm not alone either, i feel as though a large chunk of bernies base would never ever suppory clinton out of principle
This entire election is a joke
Do you want a raving lunatic, or a shady person who promised to keep the previous administration in place. An administration which has been nice and quiet, rather than the harsh rocking of the boat that Trump will no doubt do, as well as make us the laughing stock of America once again.
Trump won't only make us the laughing stock of the world, he will destroy this country with his inexperience. Literally destroy it, bye bye super power status, hello economic disparity.
People are just too fucking stupid in this country to see she is not electable.
Okay, maybe I just haven't paid enough attention to political news over the past few years, but exactly what is so horrible about Hillary? I don't think she's the best candidate. She doesn't seem to understand the importance of certain issues, and she's too much of a compromiser to make any of the radical changes we'd need. But what, exactly, makes her so bad some people would rather vote for Hitler than for Clinton? She seems like a safe option - another four-to-eight years of Obama, who himself was another eight years of Bush. The country will keep dying the slow death it's in. She won't really fix anything... but she also won't break anything. She'll keep the place running, maybe try to fix the budget or take another stab at healthcare reform - nothing of substantial importance in either direction. Trump, meanwhile, seems to have even odds of actually destroying the country. This isn't hyperbole - after studying him intensely, I'd take a 2:1 bet that there will be either an occupation of US territory by a foreign power, or a secession, after four years of President Trump. I know about the Benghazi thing, and it was so clearly a Republican smear job that I didn't think anyone (outside the Fox News viewership) was stupid enough to lend it credence. And I know about the email server fiasco, but that's actually not too atypical of powerful people anywhere, and is also being overblown by a clearly-biased investigation and reporting. And neither of those seem like reasons to vote for the man with three pending class-action lawsuits for fraud, a history of bankrupt companies, a healthcare plan that would kill more people than 9/11, and rhetoric so vile that he's repeatedly said he'll commit war crimes.

Try to make Mexico pay for a fucking wall it has no intention of paying for b. Ban Muslims from entering the United States c. Make a fool of himself on the world stage d. Make America a joke to the rest of the world e. Put 21 million people out of insurance f. Try to bring back waterboarding and worse tortures (war crimes/human rights violations if I recall correctly) Yeah, great logic there friend
On what specific issues?
Trade policy is the main one that matters to me personally; she's been for most of these big trade deals, and now within the past year suddenly they are all bad. She apparently did the same thing during the 08 election as well, saying trade deals are bad, and yet she's been a major of supporter of TTP up until recently.

She is basically leading 2:1 in each state

If people think americans are dumb now imagine how the world will see us with him as the face of the country.
Not just that, but knowing he got in because of fucking dumb asses voting him in just to spite some little old lady. Look, I'm sad Bernie's not gonna be President too, but I'm not gonna be stupid and waste my vote, it's going to Hiliary, that's that.
A poll showed 7% of Bernie supporters would vote for Trump I think? I don't remember where I got that number from. Hillary said she looks forward to having an ally in the Senate with Bernie. No VP for him. However, Sanders would be pretty much obligated to keep Hillary as VP to shore up party support if he somehow wins. Also, I can respectfully disagree with people who vote Green/Libertarian or not at all in case of Hillary v Trump, but voting for Trump over Hillary is like choosing Goldwater over Johnson in 1964. A corrupt leftist who gets shit done or a megalomaniac stoking racial hatred? Seriously?
Trump won't only make us the laughing stock of the world, he will destroy this country with his inexperience. Literally destroy it, bye bye super power status, hello economic disparity.
...So we won't need to be the world police anymore?? Where do I vote?

They both suck, but only one of them wants to build a huge wall to keep them dirty illegals out.
Trump is the last person anyone on this Earth wants to have a grip of a superpower military and nuclear launch codes, i dont want him in the white house but if it comes down to Hillary vs Trump, GOP has it
And Trump is preferrable to Hillary because...? They both suck, but only one of them wants to build a huge wall to keep them dirty illegals out.
Because Trump doesn't lie or flip flop. Except all those times he totally fucking lied and switched positions.

But if you're in a swing state, you'd better vote.
