Another photo to add to the classic photos recognized by the world over taken throughout the years, usually seen in history books and the like. In 100 years, this photo will still be around, just like Tiananman Square
Islam, isn't it great
yeah it was islam. no, not crazy, sociopathic fucks with guns in syria, the entire religion
Wow this depressed me
so why are we funding these crooks, rapists, and psychopaths again?
Don't forget Assad's forces are equally if not more cruel
Who the fuck took the picture , seriously.
The hard part of being a photographer is that you are there to observe and capture these events, not to make a difference.
People don't really have a clue what's going on, I mean I don't even have a full idea of what's going on but I also don't think it's America simply "Supplying" these guys. I think there is quite an obvious well thought out reason behind why they are doing this.
This is WAY too fucked up. I hope the child will grow up to be ok, although I really doubt that.
Man....I really hope this is fake. Even then, I'd wanna punch the shit out of the person who said "hey, it would be a good idea to run this story."
God.....I just feel sick now having read this.
Jeez you guys are so pessimistic. Whenever something horrific happens to a kid people come in the thread and say "omg she's going to be traumatized for the rest of her life" etc. Yes, I'm sure shell be traumatized but all human beings have the ability to cope and recover from trauma. A traumatic event doesn't always spell doom for a humans psyche.
Getting a Dexter vibe from this. Hope she grows up alright after this, I really do.
even if it's fake someone chained a toddler to a fence and beat her

Yeah, I bet she's going to be just ok with the fact that she saw both her parents get killed in front of her eyes while she was chained to a fence.
And this is only what *we* know.

Funny I didn't say that. What I said was if she was traumatized she still would have the ability to cope and recover from a traumatic event. How do I know this? Because I actually treat people who have experienced trauma (I use an empirically based trauma treatment model called CPT).
