Honestly, that's kind of where I'm at. Not even that it has to be suicide, but he absolutely had to know what was up. It's a little too perfect, the way things worked out. Then again, this is bizarre and insane, and what could be a more fitting end for one of the more crazier characters in the annals of wrestling history?
occasionally it is hard to see through the kayfabe
I'm so glad he got to experience this again before he passed. His legacy is forever.
Yeah, I'm pleased he got to do what he loved, and hear the cheers of his thousands of fans before he departed.
Also, the way he went out kind of reminds me of the movie The Wrestler (great film, too, you should watch it).

Kayfabe hasn't exist in WWE since CM Punk got the heavyweight belt.
Whatever happened, I doubt anyone was expecting this.
This sucks so much, he was looking pretty good on raw.
Didn't noticed this thread when I made my news, oops. Anyway, I am sadden by Ultimate Warrior's death.
I honestly feel like he killed himself, for how weird his speech was on RAW a little more than 24 hours ago, and he didn't get a huge ass good reputation until yesterday, I feel like that is somewhat possible.
What he said in the promo is what makes it all just a little bit weirder, though Warrior was always known for his incoherent rambling promos. Though with all the shit he's been on during his career and even after his career I think an early death was inevitable.
I've never heard of this person
RIP, though
54 seems mighty early to die
It's not that early when you consider that his job was basically to get the shit beaten out of him.

IF YOU HAVE NOT HEARD OF THE WARRIOR, THEN YOU HAVE NOT STARED INTO THE ABYSS
AND IF YOU HAVE NOT STARED INTO THE ABYSS, YOU HAVE NOT KNOWN TRUE HONOUR OR DESTRUCITY
*SKRONK*
It's really weird to see that Warrior passed away after Raw, he looked fine.
RIP Warrior
Rest In Peace, Ultimate Warrior.
He's up there now. . .screaming racial epithets at the angels.
He boarded the plane and assumed the controls to heaven.
As a motivational speaker he was also very talented, rest in peace.

His "motivational speaking" involved telling gay students that "Queering don't make the world work," and an Indian (middle east Indian) student to "go get your towel."
He was a bigot and a prick, and his "motivational speaking" was little more than a public sounding board for his racist and homophobic garbage.
He was very good at his craft though, which is why I'll miss him. Glad he just got to see himself in the Hall of Fame before he died.
I don't know try maybe showing a little compassion?
These scripts are becoming more and more convincing.

Okay. . .it's sad that he's gone. Because somewhere, a man that sells streamers for little girls' bicycles has one less customer.
Seriously, the fuck do you want from me? A deplorable human being died. Someone said he was a talented motivational speaker, and I pointed out the fact that he used his motivational speaking as a platform for spewing racism. Because he did. Does the fact that he died somehow make him a better person than he was in life?
Edit: In fact, I'm watching a video of one of his "talented" motivational speaking engagements, where he says society is deluded into thinking that "the bum is as legitimate as the businessman," and "the homosexual is. . .sorry, let me get off my politically correct high horse. . .the QUEERS think they're as legitimate as heterosexuals. . ."
The audience erupts in angry uproar, and he's asked why gays aren't legitimate. He says "Because queering doesn't make the world work."
When the man in the audience asks what that's supposed to mean, he suggests that the man remove the dick from his mouth.
What a hero, eh?

What he did doesn't exactly make him 'deplorable'. You could probably use that word for some kind of mass serial killer, but you're forgetting this guy brought a lot of joy to a lot of people in his prime and he was incredibly dedicated to his craft, him and macho man randy savage pretty much began the whole wrestling household names. I just think you need to relax, nobody wants anything from you.
You can enjoy someone as a perfomer and not care about their political stances.

he didn't show an awful lot of compassion to the 1,800 people who died in Katrina

I didn't know about that. I only have memories of him being in ring and not outside so forgive me for being ignorant.
Everyone saying 54 is early to die makes me think of people dying of old age around 30, I have said this before it really makes me wonder if humans were really made to live over the age of 50? I mean look at all the diseases that happen just from age like arthritis, heart attack, organ failure ect. Also look at animals you dont often see any animals living over the ago of 50.

Bigots kinda are deplorable.
And his wrestling career began in 1987. Wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, the Junkyard Dog, George "The Animal" Steele, Sergeant Slaughter, The Iron Sheik, etc., were already household names by then.
I'm not saying it's good that he died. But his death doesn't erase the fact that he caused more than his fair share of pain. He was a hatemonger.
My main issue in this thread was his description as a "talented motivational speaker." I don't recall Tony Robbins ever calling his gay audience members "queers."

My dad is over 50, has diabetes, and has a heart condition.
Well guess that's one reason to stay up tonight
Fuck, first Warrior, Jake Roberts and Scott Hall are inducted into the HoF after leading rocky post-wrestling lives, then Takers Wrestlemania streak is broken and now this.
The world of wrestling has been Joy-filled, shocking and tragic in the space of 5 days.
R.I.P

Wrestling is such an odd mixture of reality and make-believe.
Now who's gonna beat up lowtax and his dad??

Oh wait Uwe Boll
I guess someone needs to call The Undertaker.
