Welp, good bye then! Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out now.
a few questions
1: why would obama care if crazy snow lady quits the republicans
2: why did she say "as a christian" and then talk about border security, there is literally no correlation at all there.
Because she is a misinformed idiot who likes to use buzzwords to try and ~~connect~~ with people.
It's funny because palin doesn't even care why they're coming over from their homelands. They're running to escape gang violence and corruption. Isn't being a good neighbor a christian tenant after all?
ignoring the fact that they're not at all related, isn't forgiveness a pretty big theme in christianity? kinda funny that she used "I find it unforgivable" right after saying she is a christian
There's two main types of christians in this country.
The first kind are the people who read their bible, go to church, pray a lot, don't judge (as their book commands them) and generally mind their own business.
Then there's folks like Sarah Palin and Sean Hannity.

Well, at the very least they get half of their wish by coming here.

remember the christian teaching of "hate your neighbors and keep them out of your country?"

Love thy neighbour only applies if your neighbour's white.

OP is a liar is why.
and this one issue is just about driving me to renounce my Republican ties because, see, even leaders on the RIGHT side of the aisle haven’t exerted all Constitutional power to stop the madness.
Ok do it, bye. Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Its subtle pandering to the retarded so-far-right-you're-fucking-sane christian demographic.
OH SHES A CHRISTIAN I'M VOTING FOR HER
what the fuck does this even have to do with anything
oh right "america is a CHRISTIAN country" so apparently i guess she thinks that non-christian immigrants entering our country is an affront to everything it stands on
also i think she means she's just gonna leave politics in general because she's failed so much at accomplishing anything, she doesnt want to be associated with it anymore. i'd actually like her to stay in because all she does is further de-legitimize the conservative party. it's a sound choice of tactic that we should WANT her to stay in politics because all she does is harm the image of the conservatives.
It's not even non christian. Mexicans are Catholic.

Yeah but the Pope is a socialist because he slightly insulted capitalism.
hasn't Obama magnanamously outperformed bush in the deportation department
wait, she is still relevant?
A very loud minority of Christians have wholly bought into the idea that the GOP is all about Biblical principles in all that it does, I've experienced it first hand from some American Christians who doubt your faith if you don't believe in the free market.
This guy isn't joking.
You know how the Eric Cantor, House Speaker, got defeated in a primary? This is the guy who defeated him. Here's an excerpt from a 2011 paper he wrote, emphasis mine:
Capitalism is here to stay, and we need a church model that corresponds to that reality. Read Nietzsche. Nietzsche’s diagnosis of the weak modern Christian democratic man was spot on. Jesus was a great man. Jesus said he was the Son of God. Jesus made things happen. Jesus had faith. Jesus actually made people better. Then came the Christians. What happened? What went wrong? We appear to be a bit passive. Hitler came along, and he did not meet with unified resistance. I have the sinking feeling that it could all happen again, quite easily. The church should rise up higher than Nietzsche could see and prove him wrong. We should love our neighbor so much that we actually believe in right and wrong, and do something about it. If we all did the right thing and had the guts to spread the word, we would not need the government to backstop every action we take.
TL;DR of article, fucker says embrace unregulated free-market capitalism as a Christian moral doctrine or there'll be another Hitler.

An unbelievable number of protestants, most notably Baptists, believe that Catholics are in no way, shape or form "Christian" under any sort of definition, despite the full irony of history that bores down on this thought.
How many times growing up was I asked, "Are you Christian or Catholic?" I wonder...

To be fair, in some places at least, that goes both ways. I live just outside a primarily Catholic community. Most people there don't use the term "Christian" very much (I suppose it's redundant to them) and never, ever assume that you're talking about protestants when you do say "Christian" even though they're hardly isolated from the protestant majority surrounding them on all sides.
