thanks for calling me a liar and saying i lack integrity for posting my opinion that trump isn't an evil literal villain I didn't vote Trump because I like him, I voted for him because he was better for my issues that I care about. Trump might be malicious and a bully, I don't care really. He's good for my issues and while he might be a dick, as long as he does what he promises then I'm fine with him.
this is such a selfish and toxic way of thinking.
this is such a selfish and toxic way of thinking.
Welcome to America 2017. Where people will throw the country under the bus just to make sure the other political party don't get want they want. Compromise no longer exists in american politics.
I don't want to extrapolate from single posters to a whole nation tbh., especially looking at his post history.
:'(
He looks great in that hat. What an exit. We're gonna miss him. As for Trump, we're gonna endure. Don't forget that Congress has the final decision in nearly everything the president does. Watch as legislation denys everything Trump and Pence try to do from that wall to conversion therepy. If there's no benefit from both sides of the coin, it will never pass.
this is such a selfish and toxic way of thinking.
Fuck you, got mine.
Its all bout Israel. None of you are gonna convince him unless Trump endorses Hamas. All he cares about is Israel. 50~ mill Americans with preconditions, 30 million who can only afford ACA, the environment, free press. Unless it touches Israel somehow, it isnt gonna make a dent.
After speaking to Svinnik before off site, Isreal is in fact his #1 and almost only concern. Anything else he says he cares about as much is fluff. He did not vote with America in mind. On topic, I've spoken before on how much I love Biden. People in DE tend to really love him. I'm glad to see he got this award.
Trump for sure would be more willing to work with Russia and Israel. Clinton has had a rivalry with Putin and she's on cold terms with Bibi. His stance on China is sketchy though, clinton is probably better in that regard. While I don't agree with him getting rid of Obamacare wholesale, there were a lot of things that it had wrong with it and clinton's position of expanding it was not a good idea.. His position on illegal immigration and making it easier to immigrate to the US is good as well, considering clinton wanted to give illegal immigrants access to healthcare and make a lot of illegal immigrants legal. He's shit but this election was picking between a blue turd and a red turd. I picked the red turd.
I'm going to be totally honest here- I don't think any of this even remotely justifies the level of suffering the republicans plan to level against ordinary people. I wasn't expecting to agree with you, but I honestly can't comprehend how these issues would ever be worth letting so many people get fucked over. This isn't melodrama, it's simply recognition of the fact that Trump, his VP, and his cabinet picks genuinely do plan to screw over the public. Trump's "relationship" with Putin isn't exactly ideal, It honestly comes across as more of a puppeteer and puppet set up than as a bright new future of co-operation between nations. And as for stopping immigrants from getting health care- Is it really worth allowing the GOP to revoke the coverage of such a huge number of Americans just so you can ensure ~foreigners~ are also denied access?
UM, how is taking away insurance from millions, denying climate change, wanting to fucking deny vaccines as an official policy and wantimg to cut social security not villainous? It's downright evil
And you just said 4 things that are completely untrue. Stop spreading false narratives. The GOP is looking to Repeal and Replace almost simultaneously sometime either late February or Early March. That means those millions will still have health coverage and guess what, it might actually be better for them! Shocking! While Trump did make those suggestions on Climate Change, he has reversed course since the election and has said he has an open mind about it. He is not in office yet so stop fear mongering this issue until there is an issue which there very well might not be. The vaccine thing is beyond false and if you believe that our country is going to really stop vaccinating people you have lost the plot my friend. Just because the people heading these departments might have some controversial views, does not mean they don't understand the idea of the "greater good". Many people who have had similar views in the past and held these positions have not gone rogue. And Social Security needs to be fixed. It can not withstand much longer how it is. There are many ideas on how to fix it. Cutting SS and adding in additional measures might be a way forward. Seriously though, the fear mongering needs to stop until there is a reason for it. I am skeptical of the new Administration, but I'm not going to lose my mind and call them "evil".
He's fulfilling what I elected him for. He's already appointed a very good Israel ambassador and is making steps towards having the ambassador live in Jerusalem. While he walked back from an embassy in Jerusalem, it's still a major improvement. On immigration, it's yet to be seen what he's going to actually do since he's giving indications that he might keep people under the DREAM act and also giving indications that he might deport them, idk. For international relations, it's sketchy what's going to happen but the US is more likely to be friendlier with Russia which seems like a good thing. I'm neutral thanks to that.
Of course you voted for him solely because of his pro Israel stance, i mean who cares about the people in the US as long as Trump turns a blind eye on stuff like illegal settlements.
The fact America is going from these two great men to evil hateful twats like Trump and Pence honestly upsets me.
I'm looking forward to it tbh, the sooner we have men that can fix the mistakes Obama made the better.
how melodramatic can you be lol, they might be not what you want but they are not by any stretch of the imagination villians
The Trump administration plans to discard decades of climate change research for a profit. When future generations live in a desert hell choking on polluted air they will have him and his ilk to blame. Minorities will suffer during his presidency, not just from his policies but also from all the bigoted shitstains who have been enabled by his win. The alt-right is a movement against social progress and it is pure evil. Trump is a villain, his cabinet is full of villains and his supporters are villains too.
