My thoughts are with you guys, don't forget to help yourselves if you help others.
All trains in the south island have been canceled.

thank you moderators for updating thread title, I am safe, me and my family evacuated inland at 3am last night. there is no flooding or damage where I live, someone has been burgled in the new brighton area and casualties are confirmed. wellington has suffered structural damage in some buildings but it seems the worst is over. most people in nz seemed to heed the call to evacuate if they were near a coastal area which is fantastic. we're so fucking lucky that this has done so little damage.
Shit, be safe lad
My friend lives in NZ, just blasted him a message to make sure he's still alive, not sure where abouts he is living over there. Would the whole of NZ felt it?
Nope. I am 1200km from the earthquake and if it weren't for the "are you okay" messages I get now and then, I wouldn't have even known there was an earthquake.

We were on Heroic Xavius and mid fight a guy goes "Guys, be right back, earth-quake" then disconnects. We thought he was joking.
Here's an album of the damage that's happened. https://imgur.com/gallery/Oea1r This is horribly fucked.
Jeez, some of the those landslides and cracks in the ground are nuts. Glad our NZ Facepunchers made it out OK.
