with *a* nuclear aircraft carrier, we have several
According to Fox, the first C17 has arrived in Tblisi. I wonder if there are some "top secret boxes of beans" with American antiaircraft tech...
I know, but still more than the rest of the world's 0 nuclear aircraft carriers. My point was France is no bunch of pushover cowards. They have as illustrious a military history as any Western nation.

Oh, I thought you were talking about Russia. Trust me, I'm not insinuating France is a bunch of pushovers. They're not, as history >100 years proves.

It's questionable whether he acts the way he does because that's what he truly believes, or because that's what he has to say to stay in power.
Similar to how you pretty much HAVE to pander to Evangelicals in the U.S. to get elected.
It's WW3, well looks like the great tagteam of USA and Britain will be fighting communism once again! Wonder Twins ACTIVATE, SHAPE OF: LIBERTY
Gori is captured after Russia breaks the cease-fire; U.S. plans to give humanitarian aid to Georgia.
OUTSIDE GORI, Georgia - Russian troops and paramilitaries rolled into the strategic Georgian city of Gori on Wednesday, apparently violating a truce designed to end the conflict that has uprooted tens of thousands and scarred the Georgian landscape.
In Washington, President Bush said the United States planned a massive humanitarian effort involving American ships and aircraft, includiung a C-17 military cargo plane loaded with supplies that landed on Wednesday.
He said Russia must ensure that "all lines of communication and transport, including seaports, roads and airports," remain open to let deliveries and civilians through.
Georgian officials said Gori, a central hub on Georgia's main east-west highway, was looted and bombed by the Russians before they left later in the day and camped nearby.
Moscow denied the accusations, but it appeared to be on a technicality: a BBC reporter in Gori reported that Russians tanks were in the streets as their South Ossetian separatist allies seized Georgian cars, looted Georgian homes and then set some homes ablaze.
"Russia has treacherously broken its word," Georgia's Security Council chief Alexander Lomaia said Wednesday in Tbilisi, the capital.
An AP reporter saw dozens of trucks and armored vehicles leaving Gori, roaring southeast. Soldiers waved at journalists and one soldier jokingly shouted to a photographer: "Come with us, beauty, we're going to Tbilisi!"
But the convoy turned north and left the highway about an hour's drive from the Georgian capital, and set up camp a mile off the road. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Russian troops were near Gori to secure weapons left behind by the Georgians.
This is gonna get bad
I knew the cease fire wouldn't last very long.
Wow.. So did Russia use the cease fire to just buy them time to fulfill the agenda they have long since planned of (Who knows?) ?
Here the news: http://samsonblinded.org/news/government-israeli-arms-sales-to-georgia-may-irritate-russia-2647 *Israelis supply weapons to Georgia!
Fuck shit.
Things are still heading downhill. I don't want to be drafted. :crying:
Now shit is really hitting the fan *gets in bunker*
well at least we know the second coming isn't nearby, one of the requirements is world peace at a time. see? think positive! (source: somewhere in the book of revelations)
:siren: There will not be a draft, Russia is a pushover. :siren:
Any update on the whole "Russia tells US to pick a side" thing?

Lol all it said was alot of wars with little time of peace. I think.
Either way I'd rather them not go to war. I am 17 so I cannot be drafted (Thank God) but I'd hate to see my sister's boy friend who is a specialist get dragged into it. He's a damn cool guy, gave me a free portable DVD player..lol.
Any update on the whole "Russia tells US to pick a side" thing?
I didn't hear that. The latest is that the US is sending in humanitarian things (Clothes, food, winter stuff, ect) via C17s. Then Condoleeza is being sent to France then Tikrit to analyze the situation.

Right, but I was just wondering if there was any truth to that, which, it would seem there isn't.

I think there are some people on here that are trolls. Like I saw someone say that Russia shot down the C17s.

partway down.
I think it's obvious the US is going to choose Georgia... just like the rest of the ENTIRE GLOBE

Damn bias towards Georgia, Russia isn't innocent but Georgia isn't exactly a saint either. :argh:
Damn bias towards Georgia, Russia isn't innocent but Georgia isn't exactly a saint either. :argh:
True, but, to put it in perspective in an analogy:
Redneck Takes the extension off of his trailer, and parks it behind his trailer, still in his yard, Redneck #2 has been eyeballing that extension in Trailerpark Weekly a while, and Inspects it some, awing over it... Redneck #1 doesn't like how some of the things are on the Extension, so he goes and changes some stuff around, Redneck #2 Is all, You can't change that, it's a masterpiece, comes into #1's yard and fucks his trailer home up.... and dislodges the cinder blocks keeping the extension in place, so it rams the trailer too,
Or
Guy gets stung by bee, Kills Bee, Then goes on rampage at the Bee Farm 3 miles away
Damn it Bush...fucking up the world again. Russia should just take back the Pro-Russian areas in Georgia. And there is oil here, so Bush will be sending troops in. WWIII has begun.

Regardless of how it started Russia took this way too far, they should at least follow the terms of the cease fire.
I would like to hear the story from both sides, thank you very much.
