I would like to hear the story from both sides, thank you very much. Not just RUSSIA IS EVIL COMMIES COMMIES COMMIES COMMIES!
Why shouldn't they pull out, they've already made their point.
Just for the record, if a country like Japan could beat Russia then we should have no problem destroying them if a bigger war does break out because of this incindent.
When did japan beat Russia?
Why shouldn't they pull out, they've already made their point.
They should pull out, but Georgia is still pretty much being Praised by the rest of the world. :argh: Whether or not that is true..I don't know. Good night facepunch. :)
When did japan beat Russia?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russo-japanese_war It's a really terrible comparison and I can't imagine a stupider one though. Edit: hey guys if the mongolians beat russia a few hundred years ago we can too right
Just for the record, if a country like Japan could beat Russia then we should have no problem destroying them if a bigger war does break out because of this incindent.
Off Topic:What the hell kind of beast is that in your avatar?!? On Topic: I told my army buddy about Israel giving georgia weapons to fight Russia, all he said was "Aww shit.". He's probably gonna be sent there to fight if America decides to go at it.
That, my friend, looks like a very fat dog.
Or Widedog, as it's widely known around the meme culture.
We are not going to war with Russia, we can't afford a third front with a third country, let a lone a world power. Other countries must back up Georgia or we'll have to send in Navy/Air Force since neither are really concentrated in Iraq/Afghanistan. Edit:
Or Widedog, as it's widely known around the meme culture.
Wide Dog is such a fucking attention whore.
Just for the record, if a country like Japan could beat Russia then we should have no problem destroying them if a bigger war does break out because of this incindent.
The thing is that that war was over China. Japan had no means to destroy Russia back then. While there is really no doubt that the NATO could annihilate Russia, why should we? We have no reason to and it would come at an extreme cost and we also have very little manpower to spare.
What fucking morons. Russia keeps trying to start shit with the rest of the world and then they fucking attack Georgia. A small almost defenseless country? How fucking sad is the Russian government? Fuck Putin that piece of shit probably thought up of that fucking idea. Stupid piece of shit. Russia should not have that kind of power. To enter any country at their whim. Even the people hate their government. God this better end well without another Russian speech saying peace will be soon. Georgia should be left alone, without thousands of Russians blog ultra-nationalists being proud of the shit Russia is doing. Half of that region is now a war torn battleground. Fucking shit.
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, do you?
Well, he's not entirely wrong. There IS oil, in a way. There's a pipeline running from Azerbaijan through Georgia and Turkey into the mediterranean (not the black sea as I said before, my bad), providing oil for Western Europe that doesn't come from Russia. This is a threat to Russian economy, which largely relies on western Europe buying Russian oil, and that pipeline runs near the "border" between Georgia and South Ossetia. The U.S. on the other hand have supported this pipeline ever since the first plans were made. I guess for the same reason - it provides Europe with "independent" oil. So actually the U.S. does have an oil-related reason for intervening in Georgia.

I don't even think Russia's main priority is the pipeline, I think it's to get Georgia to join warsaw or disrupt NATO some how.
Lol we have some really big idiots in our country, don't hold it against us. and i do believe is Russian invaded us it would look something like this...
More like this:
Why is that jackass running with a flag at 1:08?
LULZ I HAS A FLAG ILL STAKE J000 LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO

Why is that jackass running with a flag at 1:08?
It's a video game trying to be dramatic.
As an American I would fully back the defense of Georgia (militarily)... it would certainly make more sense than the Iraqi "conflict" we're in at the moment. But of course we're in said conflict and doing so with our forces spread out as much as they are now would be stupid.
Damn it Bush...fucking up the world again. Russia should just take back the Pro-Russian areas in Georgia. And there is oil here, so Bush will be sending troops in. WWIII has begun.
IS BUSH THE FUCKING ROOT OF ALL TRAGEDY AND EVIL OR SOMETHING
IS BUSH THE FUCKING ROOT OF ALL EVIL OR SOMETHING
Nope, the root of all dumbasses though that's for sure.
Yea, how dare he send humanitarian aid to an ally when it was wrongfully invaded. Russia pulled out again, looks like the truce is back on.
Thank god Australia is not getting involved.

>>NEWS<< U.S.: Russia preparing for Georgia exit TBILISI, Georgia (CNN) -- Russian troops appeared to be handing over a key Georgian city Thursday, U.S. officials said, warning that any further military action from Moscow aimed at Georgia could hurt American-Russian relations "for years to come." Great, however i don't think Georgia will keep quiet about this thing. It doesn't like a DMZ around South Ossetia. However as it clearly showed when it broke the 1992 agreement in this war, i don't think Russia cares anymore. If a agreement between Russia and Georgia doesn't hold the Gerogians away from South Ossetia, a DMZ will surely do it...

They won't let it go without a fight (political) Geogia won't accept Russian troops there either in the long run.

But knowing my President... (And to another post a bit further down) Did NATO Exist in 1904? Thought that was formed after WW2 *edit* nevermind, I read the post wrong
use your brain please
no u Russia has soviet tech, inexperienced troops, no allies, and a corrupt government.
America is pokeing it's nose in other peoples business again!?
America is pokeing it's nose in other peoples business again!?
ungh for fucks sake
Just for the record, if a country like Japan could beat Russia then we should have no problem destroying them if a bigger war does break out because of this incindent.
Well done. You have decreased the international IQ by 100 points. Edit:
no u Russia has soviet tech, inexperienced troops, no allies, and a corrupt government.
Of course, your name is Mikhail Federov, you are a general of the Russian Army and you know everything. But just for the hell of it, let's prove you wrong. Soviet tech - I assume you mean old technology? As if in, "technology of the Soviet" times? Yeah, of course we still have the same weapons as we did in WW2 and in Cold War. Of Course Inexperienced Troops - WHAT? WHERE ARE YOU GETTING THIS??? I want you to go to an American school and tell everyone that America is gay - you will get detention and a letter home. Now I want you to go to a Russian school - you will be murdered and decapitated. You do not know how crazy these fuckers are, they don't need no damn experience. Also, what DO you mean by "experience". It's mandatory to enter an army (yes, YOU HAVE TO) (unless Married, In-post-secondary education) in Russia, so the majority of Russian population (males) have gone through at least 1 year of military training. They sure as hell know how to fire a gun. Allies - allies don't matter. There are 3 countries in the world. America, Russia, China. I want you to remember that. Oh, and China is more likely to be on Russia's side. Corrupt Government - 9/11 was all terrorists and muslims :downs: And really, for all you people, don't be so hasty to trust what you see: http://russia-insider.livejournal.com/25329.html Georgia wants America to enter the war, and America (obviously) supplies Georgia with tech to fight back. A lot of people say "Russia" should pull out. Imagine if your children were killed by some other dude. I'd think you'd want to kill the person RESPONSIBLE for the deaths, not the children of the said man. (Which, unfortunately is what Russia has done partially already) Edit:
ungh for fucks sake
He makes a valid point. But America makes money this way, so it's justified (sort of). Edit:
As an American I would fully back the defense of Georgia (militarily)... it would certainly make more sense than the Iraqi "conflict" we're in at the moment.
