What fucking morons. Russia keeps trying to start shit with the rest of the world and then they fucking attack Georgia. A small almost defenseless country? How fucking sad is the Russian government? Fuck Putin that piece of shit probably thought up of that fucking idea. Stupid piece of shit. Russia should not have that kind of power. To enter any country at their whim. Even the people hate their government. God this better end well without another Russian speech saying peace will be soon. Georgia should be left alone, without thousands of Russians blog ultra-nationalists being proud of the shit Russia is doing. Half of that region is now a war torn battleground. Fucking shit.
1. Shut up 2. Putin isn't even President 3. Georgia started it all That about sums it up.
Once again we (USA) can't stay out of shit.
How dare we help our allies, we are such assholes, we should all go to hell.

Well that's sucks.
1. Shut up 2. Putin isn't even President 3. Georgia started it all That about sums it up.
1. Agreed. 2. Yes, and Russia is a democratic country because people can "vote" now :downs: 3. Right, and Russia invaded them because they care about 75. 000 people with about zero benefit for them, and not because of their own interests.
3. Right, and Russia invaded them because they care about 75. 000 people with about zero benefit for them, and not because of their own interests.
Their interests were the Ossetians, most of whom had Russian passports, who were getting their asses kicked by the Georgians.

Why is everyone beating on Russia? Georgia are the real assholes. You heard the little girl? She said it was georgian(sp?) troops that were dropping bombs not the Russians. The Russians helped. Fucking shitty media coverage. On that second video. "Whoops sounds like we lost the connection to the press conference there. :downs:

The south ossetians were like starting an uprising to secede from Georgia so Georgia stopped it, then Russia invaded Georgia and took the capital, all the while shooting press and bombing civilian cities.
Are you serious? The south ossetians were like starting an uprising to secede from Georgia so Georgia stopped it, then Russia invaded Georgia and took the capital, all the while shooting press and bombing civilian cities.
They never took the capital.
They never took the capital.
IIRC Gori is a captial of something.
Are you serious? The south ossetians were like starting an uprising to secede from Georgia so Georgia stopped it, then Russia invaded Georgia and took the capital, all the while shooting press and bombing civilian cities.
The South Ossetians declared their independence during the South Ossetia war. Then, the war broke out with Georgia and South Ossetia saying they have been attacked by the other. Georgia started shelling the shit out of Tskinvali, and destroying much of it in the process. Georgia tries to take the capital from the 'criminal regime', and in response, Russia crosses the border to stop their offensive. During the fighting between Russia and Georgia, airstrikes by Russian aircraft attack Georgia's military infrastructure. After this, I'm willing to bet Russia would install a Moscow-friendly government in Tbilisi. Edit:
IIRC Gori is a captial of something.
Gori is not a capital, Tbilisi is the capital of Georgia and Tskhinvali is the capital of South Ossetia.
Are you serious? The south ossetians were like starting an uprising to secede from Georgia so Georgia stopped it, then Russia invaded Georgia and took the capital, all the while shooting press and bombing civilian cities.
Well as the other douchebag pointed out in his article, the US backed up Kosovo when it wanted independence. But apparently S-Ossetia can't have it? Russia was like "Yes way bitches, S-Ossetians CAN have their freedom." And Georgia was all like "Umh how about no >:(" and now since the US basically hates Russia it wouldn't back up Russia's opinion or anything. Atleast that's what I understood.
Russian forces built ramparts around tanks and posted sentries on a hill in central Georgia on Saturday, digging in despite Western pressure for Moscow to withdraw its forces under a cease-fire deal signed by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

Georgia's Foreign Ministry said Saturday that Russian-backed separatists from the province of Abkhazia had taken over 13 villages in Georgia and a power plant.

Russian troops and their armed allies forced Georgian men to clean the streets of South Ossetia's bombed-out capital Saturday, avenging Georgia's attack on the breakaway province a week ago.
Oh Russia, you're so silly.
Last one made me lol
I don't care what you fucking Russian fanatics think, Russia is fucking stupid.
I couldn't care less for what happens in Georgia, they started it (unless they do genocide, then i don't support them) however if they fuck with Poland, then they fuck with Europe and then they fuck with NATO.
Shit hit the fan yet again FOX NEWS Russia Says Response to U.S. Missile Shield Deal With Poland Will Go Beyond Diplomacy

Poles have been shaken by the threats, but NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop dismissed them Tuesday as "pathetic rhetoric." "It is unhelpful and it leads nowhere," he told reporters at a NATO meeting in Brussels, Belgium.
I'd say Hoop is absolutely right. Those statements Russia made are fucking ridiculous, they already agreed to send inspectors in to make sure the shield isn't against Russia. Russia needs some new generals, their currents ones smell of Cold War shit, which is not needed in this day and age. This whole thing is just pissing me off, we need to have friendly relations with Russia :/.
(CNN) -- One of Georgia's breakaway regions has asked Russia to recognize independence, according to a report by the Russian news agency Interfax.
Lawmakers in Abkhazia approved the request from President Sergei Bagapsh, Interfax reported. The president also called for a friendship and mutual assistance treaty, which would call for maintaining Russian peacekeepers in the region -- located in western Georgia. "I propose that the Russian Federation recognize the Republic of Abkhazia as a sovereign and independent state and establish diplomatic relations between Abkhazia and Russia," Bagapsh said in his appeal. The recent fighting between Russia and Georgia centered on developments in South Ossetia, the other breakaway region, where Georgia launched a large-scale attack on August 7 after a week of what it said were separatist attacks on villages near the enclave. The next day Russia sent hundreds of tanks and armored vehicles across the international border, driving into Georgia from South Ossetia and Abkhazia. South Ossetian and Abkhaz authorities consider their regions independent. But Georgia considers those Russian-backed separatist areas part of Georgian territory, a position underscored by international law and agreements. Russian officials have said those regions should have self-determination, and that the Russian government would support the people there in whatever they supported.
