Georgia was killing innocent people, russians, even people from their on country that lived there. They insult Russia and also killed some of their soldiers.
Is therer a reason NOT to attack Georgia?
Russia didn't say please?
My answer would be the same. If anyone attacks unprovoked they should be bitch slapped.
Trying to separate from a country and immediately increasing relations with an openly hostile nation isn't provoking anymore?
Is it just me, or does it seem like the Georgians seems to be acting a little odd.
A) threats of war when they can't possibly win
B) Saakashvilli seems to be a little feisty toward a country within bombing range of his capital.
What if they're planning something?
He was planning to drag other people into this, but so far noone's bit.
We'll see what happens this weekend.

:tinfoil:
Let's hope he hasn't been checking out the Local Weapons black market.
So tell me if I'm right or not, Georgia basically instigated Russia into attacking them?
Russia didn't say please?
"THE BASTARDS! THEY SHALL PAY WITH MY 250 TANKS!" - President of Georgia.
Trying to separate from a country and immediately increasing relations with an openly hostile nation isn't provoking anymore?
What the fuck are you talking about?
What? That never happens in any country.I guess only kings and queens got it for life. Now it is Medvedev(translation=Bear).
What? It happens in many, many countries.
...like what?
Georgia wants us to help them transport their troops from Iraq to Georgia, nothing about fighting though.
At least I don't think.
I hope like hell we don't. We can't afford to send troops to a second front. Look at what it did to Germany during WW2, and the Wehrmacht was kicking ass before they started fighting all over the place.
So tell me if I'm right or not, Georgia basically instigated Russia into attacking them?
Yes.
So tell me if I'm right or not, Georgia basically instigated Russia into attacking them?
Pretty much gave them the finger.
At the same time as the Olympics.
I don't care about the Olympics i want information this. God damn US media.
And once again they prove this region can't go more than a few years without fighting.
No more country should get involved at this point, it would only make things worse. Russia is far more powerful than Georgia, i don't think they have much of a chance. Hell Russia has almost as many soldier as they do population.

No, the Georgian Troops, not ours.
Georgian troops are stuck in Iraq, I doubt the US will risk their pilots. What reason would Russia have not to attack transports carrying enemy troops?
...like what?
Back up everything they've got and strike, call in foreign support, secure chemical weapons, who knows? It just seems odd to me that the Georgians seem so cocky.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Let's go over your post again. You said if someone attacked unprovoked they should be 'bitch slapped'
And I asked you "Trying to separate from a country and immediately increasing relations with an openly hostile nation isn't provoking anymore?"
I do hope you understand this time, I could use smaller words if it would help.
Yes.
What exactly did they do? They only answer I got was 'Georgia insulted Russia' or some shit like that.
Is it just me, or does it seem like the Georgians seems to be acting a little odd.

Sounds like me playing online in Civilizations 4.
No, the Georgian Troops, not ours.
Yeah, but if we committed to it, imagine the repercussions. We're allied with Georgia.

Do you actually know what is going on?
OP, it's a good read.
So tell me if I'm right or not, Georgia basically instigated Russia into attacking them?
Russia was warmongering in the region for years. They've been granting citizenship to people in breakaway regions against UN regulations for quite some time now.
Georgian troops are stuck in Iraq, I doubt the US will risk their pilots. What reason would Russia have not to attack transports carrying enemy troops?
Giving the US a reason to go to war with Russia.
Shit I didn't expect to see so many wars start in my youth. I mean damn, Iraq now Georgia.
World needs more peace. :(

Yes, I do. I have also read the OP.
I could try and make it even simpler if it would help you understand.
What the fuck is Georgia doing. I mean I know nationalism makes people do really stupid things, especially when it comes to land, but they surely can't think this is a good idea.

Georgia doesn't own South Ossetia, they can join whoever they want. They wanted to join Russia probably because it was the strongest and Georgia got pissed and attacked without reason.
Sorry if I didn't understand that very much.
SOUTH OSSETIA IS NOT RULED BY THE GEORGIAN GOVERNMENT IT'S JUST INSIDE GEORGIA.

I hear that the amount of fighting in the world has dropped tremendously, and the only reason it seems like there is more fighting, is because of the amount of media coverage. :v:
