If anyone else knows people stationed at Camp Lajeurne can you call em up and see if the base is on high alert? If so, then the rumors will be semi-confirmed.
(rumor that the whole place is mobilizing to send troops Georgia's way)
Russia wouldn't carry out a limited nuclear strike on Georgia unless it ground to a total stalemate, and even then, they aren't that crazy.
If the US starts flexing their nuclear muscle it will be their fault when we all die.
Only one phrase can be said of this situation, as it is right now.
I'm gonna go play games where I shoot stuff now.
I think this guy just wants action. :v:
So these Georgians aren't rebels eh? This is actual Military vs Military power? Outta be interesting in that case.
I think that the President of Georgia now wants peace.
I think he's currently huddled in a bunker in T'bilisi, shitting a small house.
It could drag on based on the moronic responses by NATO the UN and several western nations including the US.

It won't, Russia could level the country easily if they really, really wanted to.
be realistic... this conflict will be over before you know it. Georgia is a small country with small armed forces. Russia on the other hand is quite the contrary. Georgia have really fucked themselves over.
Do you remember the winter war between Finland and Russia.
I think he's currently huddled in a bunker in T'bilisi, shitting a small house.
I don't think he's in the Georgia, he wasn't this morning when he was talking to the UN.
It won't, Russia could level the country easily if they really, really wanted to.
I think they already have. (Without nukes, of course)

Sure, we'll just google Phone num...
Well, there is an actual number.
(910) 451-1113 that can't be right.
Do you remember the winter war between Finland and Russia.
I also remember that Red Army officers were inexperienced because of the purge.
It will be interesting to see if NATO does anything.
I'm sure you know what even a small, determined force can do should they be utterly determined, and dig in.
Yeah, I know. Small forces have fought off much larger and stronger ones many times in the past, but I'd still bet my money on this being over and done with much quicker than most people here seem to think.
i.e the idiots saying this will lead to WW3. Oh no!!! NUKES! WE'RE FUCKED.
Get a grip. (Not at you KillerTV)
Do you remember the winter war between Finland and Russia.
Georgia can never be as awesome as Finland.
I also remember that Red Army officers were inexperienced because of the purge.
This could easily turn out like another Chechnya.

They probably wouldn't say anything if you asked em. Gotta call an actual soldier who isn't way high up.
It won't, Russia could level the country easily if they really, really wanted to.
There is absolutely no reason for the conflict to go nuclear considering the balance of power, I completely agree.
It find it intresting that both sides are using exactly the same equipment and tanks, since Russia supplies Georgia.
Georgia can never be as awesome as Finland.
Georgia is a lot more awesome than Finland. Georgia has centuries of history culture and really beautiful nature. Finland just has some pretty nature.
Georgia is the clear winner here mister.

We're mostly concerned about whether or not the US will be faithful to Georgia as an ally, not about nukes getting lobbed.
Personally I don't think anything will happen and Georgia will get fucked over, but it is very easy to see how things can escalate considering how much is has already.

Well it's all over if they run out, because Russia isn't supplying them no more.
i wonder if it will be worse tommorow.
Hehe, this?

I fail to see how that makes them better than Russian troops.
