First man in the space, firs satellite, first space station, first animal in the space - Russia.
Russian made better tanks and rocket in the past.
International Space Station was founded by Russia, then USA joined.
First man in the space, firs satellite, first space station, first animal in the space - Russia.
That has nothing to do with Russia's current military power.

Chernobyl was in the Ukraine? :raise:
Also, stop fighting about who's the best.
turkey amassing troops on border because Russia targets an oil pipeline: is this true
also apparently Georgia is starting to own the Russians sort of despite Russia's bombing
People don't seem to realise that the US more or less gave Georgia the go-ahead with this invasion, in belief that it would be over in under 48 hours.
And now that the Georgians are getting their asses handed to them on a plate by the Russians, America is like "Oh well I thought it was a bad idea anyway, you guys deal with the killing, I'll see if I can talk the Russians into submission!"
That's not to say I'd want America to step in militarily here though, that would be the worst thing that could happen now. But I still think it's bad that they gave backing to Georgia and are now just letting them rot in the shit they've got into.
Mr Saakashvilli may also have banked on support from his closest ally, US president George W Bush, whose administration is said to have given tacit support for a Georgian assault on South Ossetia in the believe that the territory could be recaptured within 48 hours.
Google translation to English:
Domestic supercomputer know-how carried into the microprocessor Pentium. A former officer Vladimir ITMiVT Pentkovsky currently is the leading developer of microprocessor company Intel. Together with Pentkovskim at Intel hit by the wealth of experience and technologies developed in ITMiVT. According to Kita Difendorffa, computers Elbrus, which implemented the basic principles of modern architectures, such as SMP, and superskalyarnaya EPIC architecture, started long before the ideas on this topic discussed only began in the West.

Well, the closet thing google can find is Oleg Pentovsky, who was a double agent working for MI5.
Or Natasha Pentovsky, head of a Teacher's association.
While "Father of the Pentium Processor"
leads to ten pages worth of articles on Vinod Dham.
stop debating who invented pentium processors and russia's space program you nerds
Vladimir Pentkovski is a Principal Engineer in the Microprocessor Product Group in Folsom.
No, he isn't the father of the processor, according to INTEL, he's a far more recently hired microprocessor engineer.
