Pvt. Ryan, your avatar is like "SHIT I HOPE THEY WON'T FIND ME"
Russia is going all the way, I really can't see them accepting anything short of unconditional surrender. Georgians killed thousands of basically Russian citizens and made the Russians lose some pretty expensive hardware and men in the process. Edit:
Pvt. Ryan, your avatar is like "SHIT I HOPE THEY WON'T FIND ME"
it reflects my mood towards the post, really "ohmanobhoyholyshitwhoalook" Edit: If Ukraine is serious about their offer to Georgia, this could get real shitty real fast. A 3-way major war in Eastern Europe is surely going to attract NATO.
About cease-fire. Cease-fire agreement will work only after all Georgia troops will leave territory of South Osetia and will stop artillery fire on Tshinval. Right now Russia is agreed about ceace-fire but Georgian artillery keep shooting Tshinval. And stop posting about Russia invading Georgia! We stand only in South Osetia! I write this 8th time! It's time to look who beginned this all! Georgian forces think they can come, kill our peacemakers, bomb city, make a local genocide and then say soemthing like "damn we could not get this city now we withdraw, it was mistake, sorry for killing innocents people, lets make all like it was before, k"? NEVAR!:D As it was said before by Medvedev - all who made this crime agains people of South Osetia will be punished... rapidly:)(i added last one)
Georgia Pulled troops out of S ossetia... It was even reported on Russian Today... Doesn't that mean Russia should stop attacking Georgia? Georgia proposed another Cease Fire and got No Reply... I'm starting to think Russia really is being just a bully here now, Not only that, Georgia was attacked first, 10 of them died as a result of separatist.. Were they really Russian backed? Who knows, But Georgia didn't throw the first rock here, nor did They go into Russia and start bombing airfields and civilian targets, Yet Russia is currently Bombing targets inside Georgia, far from S Ossetia (The zone of Conflict)

Georgia pulled out and pleaded for a ceasefire but Russia was like "fuck that shit, and fuck you". I'm on neither side, I'm just posting the news as it comes out. Not saying Russia's evil or anything, in fact, it's not like either side has legal/moral highground, other than Georgia is a bunch of assholes for killing a lot of civilians.

Also we want them to remove ALL forces from south osetia - not leaving 7000 troops in it.
The Ukraine is going join up? This shit will get funny if all the ex-soviet block countries team up on Russia.
Ukraine is sending humanitarian aid and they said they might send military aid (Georgians used Ukrainian AA to shoot down those Russian planes). Plus, Ukrainian/American mercenaries were found fighting there.
Actually Georgia was first to throw rock... big fucking artillery rock in Tshinval. Also we want them to remove ALL forces from south osetia - not leaving 7000 troops in it.
Georgians were crushing a rebellion, a part of their country wanted to leave.
Georgians were crushing a rebellion, a part of their country wanted to leave.
They had no right to "crush" this rebelion. There was agreement since 1992 that South Osetia became ... problem region and ther must be no shooting between sides, also Russia was made a peacemaker my UN.
Actually Georgia was first to throw rock... big fucking artillery rock in Tshinval. Also we want them to remove ALL forces from south osetia - not leaving 7000 troops in it.
George closes Erneti market S Ossetia Forces close highway between George and Russia Georgia put military patrols to control Separatists Georgian Peacekeepers intercepted a Russian Convoy carrying weapons and missiles 50 Georgian Peacekeepers Disarmed and Detained by S Ossetian Militias I'd say this is where the current conflict now Started, and no where Do I see where Georgia Shelled Tshinval You can't really justify all of this on peace keepers trying to maintain peace between a Country and a bunch of Separatists ... If it was another nation sure, but it isn't Like I said, Georgia pulled it's troops out, yet Russia ignores Georgia's Cease Fire Proposal completely, and continues bombing them, inside their own country, a country who can NOT defend itself against such a force so much larger than their own, Does Russia feel big now?
snip
Soo basically we must feel big, because we are.
Geographically.
World War 3?
The Ukraine is going join up? This shit will get funny if all the ex-soviet block countries team up on Russia.
The Ukraine Joins NATO in December, this is going to end badly, ether that, or they invade the fuck out of the Ukraine, and hope they take them out before December .
World War 3?
In your dreams...
In your dreams...
More like in my nightmares. I don't want Fallout becoming a reality :tinfoil:
Why doesn't Russia just join NATO?
In your dreams...
Not if the Ukraine pisses off Russia, and the russians don't take them over before Декабрь. :rolleye: Edit:
Why doesn't Russia just join NATO?
Faceplam.jpeg NATO was designed to protect Europe from the Soviet Union->Russia since to stop the Russians, they need all the western countries fighting togather, and not have them get picked off one-by-one like the Germans did during WW2.
Why doesn't Russia just join NATO?
Because they're Warsaw Pact. It's basically the opposite.
BRAKING NEWS, RUSSIA SINKS A GEORGIAN NAVAL SHIP http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2008-08/10/content_9138604.htm Edit:
Because they're Warsaw Pact. It's basically the opposite.
The Warsaw pact dissolved with the USSR, right now, it's the C.I.S. which is the Russian version of NATO, it includes all the former soviet republics apart from the Baltic states, and GEORGIA dropped out of the military alliance, to only Political alliance
yeah to suggest Russia join NATO is pretty hilariously ignorant no offense
Faceplam.jpeg NATO was designed to protect Europe from the Soviet Union->Russia since to stop the Russians, they need all the western countries fighting togather, and not have them get picked off one-by-one like the Germans did during WW2.
Russia isn't the Soviet Union, and just because they used to be doesn't mean they should be disallowed entry. Edit:
Because they're Warsaw Pact. It's basically the opposite.
The warsaw pact died with the USSR.
Russia isn't the Soviet Union, and just because they used to be doesn't mean they should be disallowed entry.
it's not a black and white issue (it's a red and blue issue badum chaa)
Anyway i hope boiling point of this conflict is behind. No matter on wich side you are in time of conflict, it always good to understand that shooting is over. Just seen live news from Tshinval. I'll never will believe to Georgians goverment again. They showed captured Georgian soldiers - they said that they did not even know were they were going and leaved battlefield as soon they seen what's happening.
The warsaw pact died with the USSR.
The pact itself ended, but the nations are still pretty fucking close together. They share weapons. That's enough for me. :v:

Now the Ukraine is supposably getting in on it and the Russians are moving into Georgia itself.
Anyone know the British government's view on this? I'm hoping like hell they don't decide to back the US, and send some of their Balkan based troops to 'support' the US military posistions.
Judging from what I can see, it's barely just begun. All our military forces are in Tshinval! This is biggest disinformation i ever heard...
9th time - WE ARE NOT GOING IN GEORGIA! Why i always should repeat this? All our military forces are in Tshinval! Right now, the details are too blurry about this conflict.
