I don't know what to believe. Really, every side is saying something else that this might not even be true for all we know.
Need updates on the supposed bombing of a US base. I'd better see some when I wake up.
I'm wanting news too :argh:
If this is true this'll spark an international conflict, even if an accident.
They see me rollin, they hatin, tryin to catch me riiden dirteh
I'm pretty sure the word "patrollin'" is meant to pop up somewhere in there. Then again, what do I know? I despise the song... I like White and Nerdy though.
It's 'They see me rollin', they hatin', patrollin' and tryin'a catch me ridin' dirty.'
I'm rooting for Russia by the way.
I love their Dutch football coach. :v:
Edit:
As far as I get the story right now, didn't Georgia bring it all down upon themselves? They knew they wouldn't be allowed into NATO if their country was separated, so they went and tried to take a separatist region by force. Whoops big mistake, Russians also lived in that region, and Mother Russia doesn't like it when people fire explosives and shit at their dudes.
DO I have to remind all of you that Russia is notorious for misinformation? It's a common practice, the Chinese did it with Tibet.
But western news isn't being much better. What's actually happening is more of an average of all the stories from everyone.
Back! And bringing good news for anyone!
War in South Osetia is now officially over!
Russia and Georgian forces agreed about placing Russian peacemakers on both side of Georgian borders(this will be reason for Georgian troops not to come back in S Osetia). Russian navy in black sea are now on legal status to prevent escalation of conflict on Abhasia. Abhasian military itself now fully blocked big Georgian forces in Cador ravine. Right now they give Green coridor for citizens and Georgian forces to leave Cador Ravine without fight. Russia support column move in Tshinval to replace destroyed hospital, and bring water and food to citizens. There is still some reports of Georgian artillery shooting road to Tshinval but we hope that it just echo of just overed war.
Some interesting info - USA wanted to present own plan of regulation S Osetian/Georgian conflict. To sum up it, it sounds like always - Russian troops are bad, Georgian troops are good, so let USA move some brave American troopers to keep peace! Fortunally, Russia have veto in regulation of conflict and USA plan is "born dead".
Congratulations everyone. Another useless conflict is over. Shit did not hit the fan.
According to the news they're still bombing...
I really need satellite so I can watch a better channel. :geno:

Those poor people. Refugees trying to escape from the chaos. Where are they trying to go? How will they survive? Looks like the UN really need to do something fast
FALSE. They're still fighting.
TBILISI (Reuters) - Russian troops issued an ultimatum on Monday to Georgian forces near the breakaway region of Abkhazia to disarm or face attack, but Georgia swiftly rejected the demand.
UN tried to do anything 4 times. Only European Union who don't sit in cabinets and just talk, but go on both sides of conflict to restore peace can help in this situation.

Amd yet this sounds like what happened on august 9 when it sounded the russians would stop. Then they didn't and began bombing again. Let's not hope that the war continues...

Damn i really need map! Tring to tell anything about Cador ravine by words is useless! Fight in Cador ravine JUST overed and isolated Georgian forces have green coridor to leave fight. Basically it's another conflict between Georgia and Abhasia. I was talking about direct conflict in South Osetia.
Woo.
You realize there's been a cease fire up but the troops aren't acknowledging it.

Go hide up in the Caucuses.

We won't.:) Also where you all get that information Russian forces bombing, bombing, bombing and keep bombing Georgia?! Seriosly, we bombed only military targets in Georgia. ONCE, not RAPIDLY:). Georgians keep bombing Tshinval. But we already accepted that as "echo" of war and now try to restore peace. Looks like some news channels are only interested in war in Osetia, not about Peace in Osetia.

Wait you're Russian? And you actually believe your news?
Seems the russians are bombing the georgian presidential palace
Saakashvili abruptly ended the call after 20 minutes, saying that Russian warplanes were flying over the presidential palace.
About 15 minutes later, an operator said "Russian planes were bombing near the president's location" and that the call would be rescheduled.
I wonder how much of this is actually true.

Wow! You make it sound like Russia is completely innocent. Maybe you shouldn't believe everything the news says..
Too many contradicting news (peace, war, bombings, no bombings), I want to know what the fuck exactly is going on right now.
