So many of these "wars" go for like, a week before everyone intervenes or they give up.
Taking bets now. I am putting $10 on the whole world going to war, and while they are at war, the Hadron Collider gets attacked and destroyed while being tested, causing unforseen concequences. :D
I put :10bux: on you being an idiot, as well as anyone else thinking this'll start WW3 and nuclear warfare. Russia may like to throw their weight around a bit, but they're not idiots.
Look at this.
Why is everyone posting the same picture?
Just so you know, it seems that the gerogian government won't give up. They are still clinging to the "Georgia will never surrender" crap. Georgia is reporting the russians are still bombing them (however i'm very sceptical of that news) Maybe the georgians WANT this to go on and on? Why, is the real question then. Edit: The Georgian president is on CNN live now. However there is no translation. Sounds either like he has stopped the war or that they will keep fighting on? Edit: And he is seriously looking like hitler when he talks to a crowd...
And he looks like he won the war or something... :raise:
He just said the french presidents name. It seems they might have signed the cease-fire deal... Edit: my god, it's like watching germans singing Deutchland uber allies... Edit: did something happen? Seems the people of the rally is leaving rather quickly?
I wish I could get TV where I am :(. This is really interesting.
The fallout from this thing could be nasty...
I wish I could get TV where I am :(. This is really interesting.
UK oil company BP shuts down two more pipelines in Georgia as a precautionary measure. Georgia says attacks have continued despite Russian halt claim. So that was what the georgian president said. Somehow i don't believe him...
Of course Georgia is going to say there's more attacks going on if they have support from America. And, gas prices up now at BP stations, woo!
http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSL768040420080812?feedType=nl&feedName=usmorningdigest Russians are done, not just cease-fire'ing, they're done. Gurgenidze. What's with all the splinter cell names, seriously.
Look at this.
You don't actually believe the Russians did this because they felt compelled to save their South Ossetian friends from being bullied by Georgia, do you?
http://www.reuters.com/article/topNews/idUSL768040420080812?feedType=nl&feedName=usmorningdigest Russians are done, not just cease-fire'ing, they're done. Gurgenidze. What's with all the splinter cell names, seriously.
Georgia keeps trying to stir up trouble with Russia, though, even though they've pulled out. I don't think Georgia is going to let this die - Russia demands that Georgia be legally bound to not be allowed to use force to claim territory in the future, which would effectively stop Georgia. I don't think that they ( Georgia ) like the terms of peace right now, and nor do I think that Georgia's president really cares for Russia refusing to speak to him. I'm still curious why they don't speak.
Thread should've been called shit in Georgia/Russia is about to hit the nuclear weapon attached to the fan. Amirite?? :D Amiri... rite...? Although, of course, it didn't... :sigh:
Ok so I've dove deeper, going to links of news of the conflict. And really, this is turning out to be really weird.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illuminati I don't wanna turn this thread into a conspiracy theories thread but it's so weird how everything ties into each other. :) Basically the Illuminati is made up of a combination of secret societies including "Skull and bones" which George Bush was in. (Yale secret society), Along with him, his entire family roots dive down into this society. Now, the Illuminati is bent on a NWO(new world order). Now China has claimed that it will send 100,000 assassins to kill lead members of the Illuminati. "I can say with certainty that China, Russia and India are free. When Putin kicked out Nieslev and Bereshovsky and arrested Khordokovsky, he basically kicked the Rockefellers and Rothschilds out of Russia. I have good Russian sources and am confident Putin is a nationalist who is fighting the Illuminati with all his might. When ex-NSA chief Bobby Inman spoke at the Foreign Correspondent’s Club of Japan on June 26th he made it very clear he expected a protracted struggle with Russia." http://www.savethemales.ca/002056.html Taken from the site above. Pretty weird stuff huh? Now back on topic. :)
The Red and The Green Societies. I've read about them. Sworn Enemies of the Illuminati. Now back on topic. :v: Edit:

:siren::downs::siren:
how the fuck could people think it was in the state of Georgia, if it was, there would be tornado sirens going off and squadrons of B52s constantly flying overhead your country doesn't just get invaded by Russia without you knowing about it, it it was, then maybe the news agencies would shut the hell up about that dumb Caylee girl. Who gives a fuck if she's lost, not me. People are murdered every day so why should be care about blonde girls.

Georgia sues Russia for "ethnic cleansing"
The Georgian security council says it has filed a lawsuit in the International Court of Justice for alleged ethnic cleansing. Council chief Alexander Lomaia told The Associated Press that Georgia made the filing Tuesday with the international court. He gave no other details of the lawsuit. Russian officials have accused Georgia of committing genocide by launching an offensive last week to try to retake control of the breakaway province of South Ossetia. Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, meanwhile, accused Russian forces Monday of cleansing another breakaway province, Abkhazia, of ethnic Georgians.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080812/ap_on_re_eu/georgia_russia;_ylt=AkSBfLCLsfQF_C2K8RsIKo2s0NUE WHAT THE FUCK?

It really sounds like Georgia is trying to encourage a war.
It really sounds like Georgia is trying to encourage a war.
They think that the rest of the world will help them if Russia tries anything.
They think that the rest of the world will help them if Russia tries anything.
Sadly that's true. It's ridiculous because we can't afford to destroy our relationship with Russia, because of their influence on Iran and North Korea. Georgia is biting off way more than they can chew, and they are trying to write a check with their mouth that their ass can't cash. /stupid phrases
I don't know what to think of this thing. It's pretty impressive to see Russia in action. But what makes me wonder is how can the US bitch at Russia for invading a country when they're like the all-around worst fucking douchebags that would do exactly that type of thing given the proper opportunity.(Read: Iraq)

If Russia was in NATO ( I don't think it is ) / more Western-friendly, then things might be different.
