I don't think DM would be a way of advertising the game,
the game is good just dm is kinda shit.
1: No dedicated servers.
2: Can't join a game that's in progress.
3: The game ends if the host leaves.
4: Only Deathmatch mode in demo.

Is anyone having a problem with like a refresh rate type thing with they moniters? My moniter has a refresh rate of like 60, and it's 1920 X 1080, I get this small think strip of green at the bottom of my moniter, and it looks like it's Flashing or something, it's really weird and annoying, Anyone know how I could fix this?

4 is the only one I don't mind, since it's a demo.
But yeah, it's annoying as fuck when the host leaves since you wait for 15 minutes to find a fucken room to play in.

It honestly baffles me why developers are falling back to this kind of multiplayer system. This shit is from the Rogue Spear days.
That said I'll still download this. I've been hyped about this game since I heard about it.

I played through 2 matches before I knew how to run
The atmosphere is great.
Nothing is as terrifying as going down a dimly lit corridor, hearing the roar, and turning to an alien charging you, your motion sensor beeping like mad, and your bullets plinking around it. This is a game where you do not wanna be alone. Most of the time, the marines work together to take out the aliens and predators. Occasionally, they go after each other, but most of the time, they work together instinctively.
I don't understand why we can kill our own teammates and get points for doing it.

How do you switch between Alien/Predator/Human? I saw that I could switch my skin, but not my species?!
Also, this games deathmatch is actually kinda fun.
Click the large screen, it'll even say "Switch Species".
I tried it out of boredom, and I must say this game is astonishing, I wasn't expecting anything special but the melee fights are just superb, and the overall gameplay is intense, and that's only deathmatch
I will definetly get this game when it's out, and do campaigns, followed by team deathmatchs A.S.A.P!
If you have 50$ to spend on something, spend them on this game, it's awesome and you'll not regret it!
I just figured out that you need to restart Steam after installing the demo, it will install DirectX after that and then you get into matches quite easily.
Fucking awful seriously.
I'll reserve judgement however since the main game probably won't be a slideshow

I don't mind that there aren't any dedicated servers, but I really wish you could set up a listen server or at least a lobby to wait for people.

Does it shake wildly for anybody else, I haven't gotten a chance to join a game yet. But the menu shakes up and down by a millimeter constantly.
that sounds like a monitor issue, believe it or not. my monitor does this every so often, just turn the monitor off and then back on, see if that fixes it.
it has something to do with resolution and refresh rate. assuming that turning it off and turning it back on fixes it.
