If you're lagging, its your fault. I haven't had any lag with this, so you should probably lower your settings.
I made a lobby, invited some friends, and we had a blast.
The voice chat, framework, and other stuff that isn't directly gameplay is a bit dodgy.
But it's fun as shit to leap out of the rafters and grab a human, in front of all his mates, and stab him through the face, ripping his skull off, and then having them turn around, seeing me with their friends' head, and then shooting me, before an alien comes from behind me, who had been trying to sneak up on me, and he accidentally floors a marine.
Good times.

I like the demo, didn't take too long to find a game or people, for that matter. Bit confused about how you choose species and all that but I pretty much like all of them for different reasons, kinda hope the full game will be better though.

I heard it was going to be like, one level from each of the campaigns and then one Multiplayer map.

Didn't even run for me. Just closed instantly. My specs are over the required by quite a bit.
Wow when you play as alien you attach to EVERY SINGLE SURFACE EVER, if you engage in combat and have to do all the ''dance'' of a meele combat, you can't because it keeps spinning the god damn camera as you move because you keep switching surfaces, it's a pain to the balls.
Not to mention you get completely lost in the map, the matchmaking can't find players for shit and you have to keep looking the whole map to find anyone.
The controls are complex and there aint a single hint to explain what things do, you just get lost.
The look of the game is awesome, the engine is good, the features are nice, but the gameplay is crap.

Alien is not a race for people who have poor awareness, not being nasty, but Alien is a race you really have to play for a while to get used to. As soon as you can handle it, you will raep.

I remember being on the other side of some crates to a marine, I went upside down and tail whipped him in the top of the head which split his face in half.
LULZ ENSUED.
I played a round as an alien and, while the movement was a bit disorienting, there was no lag at all.
I've been waiting years for this.
