I love how literally everyone who idolizes the Nazi aesthetic tries to justify it with "H-Hugo Boss did it! Orkney turnout at 84%, Clackmannanshire at 89% according to Sky News. Whatever the result I think we can all agree it's good to see such high numbers of voters and a passion for taking part in a democratic process.

Any word yet on this?
Any word yet on this?
Wont be for another few hours
Two regions have officially declared their turn out, Orkney is ~83% and Clackmannanshire is ~88% Postal for those two regions are in the high 90s. Its a good day for democracy, no matter which outcome you want to be honest.

Looks like the Yes boxes are ticket but being put on a table marked for No votes? god damnit ninja'd again.

Maybe they were just put down there before being sorted.

someone got a website to view the reporting ... or a quick update on whats been counted so far? I just got home and realized this is happening right now
It's in Dundee, a high population area with a 90% turnout. They won't have counted the votes yet so they're just sitting on an available table.
they will be recounted and verified before they are counted as votes - they just lump them together for now to sort it out [editline]19th September 2014[/editline]
someone got a website to view the reporting ... or a quick update on whats been counted so far? It's micro-happening
Police investigating allegations of electoral fraud in Glasgow. It relates to 10 votes cast in various polling stations around the city.
Just the staff making chitchat and twiddling their thumbs. I think part of the high turnout is the relative power every vote has. In this referendum, 5 million people are deciding the future of an entire political union. In a European/General Election, 70 million people decide who sits in their area's seat in parliament, which in turn affects their voting power on new legislation (you hope - MPs voting against their party does happen). The close call of it is also maybe drumming up excitement - every Scot wants to support their side because the outcome is so unclear, whereas if you're a Labour supporter in a safe Tory seat it's easy to feel like there's no point voting.
