When does the result come in? I wanna go down to george square and join either the party or the riot. If it's proper early then fuck it.
Set up a tent in the square, take a crate of beer and have a placard with "hurrah!" on one side and "boo!" on the other. Ready for either outcome. I think its like 6am?
Can someone explain what will actually change/happen depending on the vote outcome?

Spread your wings Scotland.
Spread your wings and fly awaaaay!
To be honest I'm more concerned about what will happen to the Union Jack (and what new flags will appear on /int/)

London will rebuild Hadrian's Wall.
Can someone explain what will actually change/happen depending on the vote outcome?
Well Scotland will probably go bankrupt if Yes wins.
The SNP hasn't really explain what they are going to do.
Can someone explain what will actually change/happen depending on the vote outcome?
If no, nothing changes. If yes, no one is quite sure; it's pretty divided between the SCOTLAND STRONK camp who believe it'll strengthen Scottish economy and all that jazz and the "Oi, ya tossers ain't nuttin without me, I fucked yer mum!" who think it'll fall into anarchy and cannibalism.

If yes wins we will ascend to the promised lands on a deep fried mars bar, shitting all over the uk as we go
I voted Yes.
If yes wins we will ascend to the promised lands on a deep fried mars bar, shitting all over the uk as we go
this is why i voted yes
If Scotland leaves then good on you I suppose, if no then met
meh.
I think it'll be a close, but a no vote. Albeit salmonds let 16, 17 kids vote so that may sway it.
Garry please update the flag dog if it does happen
But when will the Basque Country do?
But when will the Basque Country do?
They wouldn't risk leaving without spain's good graces, they would need EU membership to which spain would have to agree.
I hope Scotland votes Yes just for we can restart the republic movement in Australia.
Vivá lá referendum!

Bad camera angle, but an incredible speech.

Yeah, it's actually bullshit when we're trying to get rid of this dictatorship of Spaniard politics. The main reason is that the Basque Country is a communication filter for imports and exports with the rest of Europe, but I say fuck it.
If we could get rid of Mr. Rajoy and co. it would be nice.
voted yes!
Imagine voting yes.
Imagine voting yes.
yeah, what a fun joke.
imagine voting. Imagine having a personal decision in a vote.
I think after assessing the situation, a YES vote is more desirable because of how UKIP is coming to power in the UK, so it would be better without the rest of the UK.
Man, I'm sick of all this referendum bullshit. Everyone's salty as fuck over their opinions here in Scotland right now and I just want it to be over.
Anyone up for a post decision cuddle?
Why do people even WANT to gain independence. All it seems to me is just "I want independence cause its cool to be independent" but never actually see any good reason as to what they would gain.

People across the world kill eachother over things like this, I'm happy with a bit of saltyness.

Only dolts have this idea. It's the same as people voting no to protect their protestant 'orange' beliefs.
I'm not going into a debate about this. It's a conscientious decision based on many reasons. The primary being that I'd rather not live my life asking "what if?"
Sorry for the grammar I'm typing this on a phone in class. Just thought I'd put this in here seeing as there's a massive no vote bias on this forum. Even from people, who judging by their geographic icon aren't even in the UK.

Because as it is now, Scotland only has a very limited role in their law setting. The majority of policy carries through from Westminster, which often has a different view than the Scottish people.

Don't get your information from Facepunch and do some research into the topic at hand. From Scottish people, prefferably. England and America are bad places to start as to why we want independence.
I just got back from voting. I'm so glad this is almost over, I was in Glasgow yesterday and I was bombarded with leaflets etc.
Whichever way this goes I just hope that people will act rationally about it - whatever happens is what the majority of the country wants.

Agreed, regardless of the outcome we'll still gotta live with the other half.
But to be fair, it's been really calm for the most part, the only major thing I've seen was either the EDL/SDL or otherwise massive arseholes were counter protesting the Yes camp in George Square doing Nazi salutes and shit last night.

That and the orange walk carrying a 'no popery' flag last week in protest of a yes vote.
As if it had anything to do with anything. Shows the intelligence of most people that attend those parades
This ranks up there with one of the most important events of this century.
not really, important for europe/north america(due to NATO/etc) sure, but otherwise not really.
