Yesterday.
Come on, Edinburgh.
BBC is predicting 55% No 45% Yes
Gosh when are the rest being added, I wanna go to bed.
me too
not until i celebrate with a glass of scotch mixed with irn bru and something fried for decoration.
Wonder what the SNP can do after all this tides over.
They already played their trump card and by the looks of things, that just blew up in their face.
i honestly thought glasgow was gonna be a fuckin landslide but it was only like 53% yes
fuck sake, there's no way we're becoming independent :(
from what i been reading, scotland has been promised many benefits for staying in or something
what would happen if the promises aren't kept?

Hah! You're stuck with us ;)
[QUOTE=Gwoodman;46014743]I can't imagine how fucked Spain is if this brings out more people wanting independence in Catalonia and it spreads throughout other separatist movements.

Not only in Catalonia, buddy, but in the goddamn Basque Country too.
There's still a whole fight over Catalonia though.

With the votes being this close, next time it'd be a decisive 'yes'.

I predict another protest vote and resentment; people haven't forgiven the Tories for shit that they did in the 80's. If Tories refuse to help integrate Scotland into the UK further and lie I'll be pissed.

We simply try again.
We have a nasty habit of doing things the hard way.
I wonder what this means for everyone in the UK now, are we going to end up with more devolution for everyone? Federalisation? Something else? Return to the status quo?
The UK has changed tonight, for the better or the worse that's for sure.

If Westminster is smart they will begin plans to closely integrate us more and likely try and devolve the parliaments. I wouldn't mind there being equal amounts of Scots, Welsh and English serving in Westminster as MP's, though I'm not sure if that would work out.
I bet they'll try to sneak in a law to make it illegal to leave the union too. UK needs more federalization not separate parliaments.
If you're english i wouldnt come to glasgow any time soon. being deadly serious, after what i seen tonight

Is everyone screaming "English bastards"?
