Hope yes gets passed

There's quite a lot of support for you guys in Wales.
Interesting map of twitter tag trends for yes and no on the vote today.

I'm guessing it won't be long until the UK is broken up out of existance.

Never heard of that (before my time, don't know much about Canada)
It'll be interesting to see what happens if 'yes' passes

1995 Quebec Independence Referendum. Ended with the "No" side winning with 50.58% of the vote.
The late surge of "Yes" support is pretty parallel.
Couple of interesting articles:

But isn't Quebec still kinda like Scotland is right now administratively?

The amount of salt that would flood out in Britain will make all water unusable and wipe out all life.
I dont know why, but I'm so fucking proud of Scotland right now. <3
I'm gonna predict/guess a turnout between 87 and 93% because why not
Yes and the Queen can dissolve Parliament, doesn't mean there is any chance of it happening.
Never say that about modern governments.
I predict it won't happen.
There are no polite men in green to defend opressed minority of scottish people :v:
I'm hoping that Scotland gets what it wants, but I can't help but feel that they're going to be hurting themselves quite a lot if they end up going independent. What worries me most is how the guys at the front of the independent campaign haven't even fully laid out their plans for success/not leaving Scotland a crippled economically unstable place.
While England does end up suffering from Scotland's independence, Scotland itself practically burns alive in comparison.
But isn't Quebec still kinda like Scotland is right now administratively?
The two aren't as comparable as one would think.
Canada is a federal state and the provinces have a much larger degree of fiscal and political autonomy than the countries of the UK, even after devolution is factored in.
So assuming the flag is changed will that mean that countries like Australia that have the Union Jack in also change their flags?
So assuming the flag is changed will that mean that countries like Australia that have the Union Jack in also change their flags?
no because flags are expensive and there's no reason to change.
Hopefully it won't be a tie
I know this is a joke but honestly I see the results being extremely close either way and riots from the losing side beginning soon.
[editline]18th September 2014[/editline]
Then again I know pretty much fuck all about politics so why should I know?
If Scotland leaves we'll have to get a new flagdog
no because flags are expensive and there's no reason to change.
If Scotland also still recognizes the monarchy there's still no real reason to change unless they suddenly go all republican.
if no wins i hope there wont be any manchildren with guns trying to take scotland for themselves.

I thought you have to buy new flags quite often because the wind makes them slowly disintegrate.
