A death sentence implies that the judicial system that allows it is infallible, which it can't be. Whatever benefits it gives are irrelevant if it's implementation will lead to someone who didn't commit the crime they were found guilty of having their life taken away.

Different nose, eyes, hair length, and facial structure. I thought it was interesting to post.

Everything except the shape of his nose looks identical between those pictures. And your nose changes shape a bit when you smile.
And as my sources show it would cost even more resources to kill bad people.
And so you really believe the sacrifice of innocent life is worth the incredibly low chance of such high profile criminals escaping maximum security prisons in America of all places.

In fact G3rman let me turn your logic against you.
Why take chances of killing bad people if you have a chance of killing the wrong person. If you kill the wrong person that means there's no chance of exoneration. If there's no chance of exoneration that means the real criminal is still free to do whatever horrible acts got the innocent sent to death row.
To be honest we wouldn't have to spend too much if we just hung the guys. And I for one would support the death penalty a lot more if the guys we got were actually guilty, which for the most part most of these guys usually are. Plus if you put some of these guys in prison for life, they will actually love the attention and they're not really suffering if that's the case. I'm not one to give mercy to guys like these, they fucked over people's lives and they probably don't feel a thing about it.

And I can't believe some people actually feel sorry for this fucker. There's a point to where people care about people too much I believe, and it's quite irritating to know that people feel bad for him when he had the intention to kill so many people.

Different facial expression, you can tell if he wasn't smiling his nose would be a lot thinner. And don't forget that lenses work differently from different distances.
So this guy killed the batman?
Should be given the death penalty, in my opinion. Not only did he just walk into a cinema armed with tear gas, an automatic rifle/shotgun/pistol and simply opened fire on people in a completely defenseless position, he "supposedly" rigged his apartment with numerous booby-traps designed to maim or even kill as a diversion.
Personally any chance of pleading insanity or any other way of defending his actions as "not performed by self(?)" should be thrown out. Maybe a death sentence is what he wants, so give it him. I see no reasoning why he should be put into jail, as said before he'll only become victim of some form of assault.
