They do various versions of monopoly other than the classic, there must be like 50,000 different types.

It's better to break a needle than to have four holes punched completely through your finger, with coarse thread binding it tightly to fabric. Think of it as the steel-toed boot or hardhat of the textile industry.

I'd place sewing up there with like, learning how to make fire without a lighter or firestarter as one of the important survival skills everyone should know. Learning how to repair clothes, affix tarps, and even mend wounds all with one skill is surprisingly powerful.
