But the sources said that was for naught, since Mueller has the complete cache from the dozen accounts
EDIT: Wondering why the GOP is acting so panicky about Mueller and supporting Team Trump? Well, wonder no more: https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/7k9gnu/mueller_obtains_tens_of_thousands_of_trump/drcoq25/
So... guess who else was part of the Trump transition team? Just in time for a Christmas Miracle.
With regards to this 'twist', can it cause any legitimate legal problems for Mueller's team? He's run an extraordinarily tight ship so far, wouldn't be like him to get sloppy now.

He wouldn't have used it if it exposed him or his cases to any problematic issues.
Sure hope so. If the best the Republicans can try to come up with to discredit him is a couple of FBI officials on his team sharing personal texts that they don't like Trump (How could they?! Trump's such a loveable guy!) then he's in pretty great shape.
I can't wait to see the movie based on Mueller's investigation that'll surely come out in a decade.
Trump fires. Mueller fires back. This news day went from bad to great.
"But what about the Emails?" Donald J Trump says. "We got them." Mueller replies, caressing Trump's cheek.
If emails are what brings down Trump's campaign, the irony will be nothing short of palpable.

Well, wonder no more: https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/7k9gnu/mueller_obtains_tens_of_thousands_of_trump/drcoq25/
If that's true, how could this affect the GOP as a whole if Mueller's investigation is allowed to continue?
If that's true, how could this affect the GOP as a whole if Mueller's investigation is allowed to continue?
It won't affect the party, only those currently in office. There is much, much of America that will always vote Republican regardless. Even if their current senator or congressman is shit, they'll opt for the 2nd GOP candidate in the primary rather than the democrat.
How in the fuck did david nunes get put in charge of the fucking house investigation if he was a member of the trump transition team, and he hasn't actually recused himself from the fucking investigation

Interestingly enough, the Special Counsel's Office's spokesperson has finally commented on something besides responding with "no comment":
Appropriate criminal process meaning justified warrants. Ooooooh mama.
Appropriate criminal process meaning justified warrants. Ooooooh mama.
God knows Trump did not consent
Interesting thread.
Interesting thread.
Trey Gowdy is one of the people the letter is sent to, complaining about Mueller getting into emails by the transition team. Gowdy was on the transition team. Gowdy must recuse himself from any House activities relating to Trump-Russia. But he won't. The letter cries and complains that they're private correspondence, but, uh, well The spin on Fox News that fixes everything: Executive privilege! But wait, there's a problem here. They're panicking. :v:
So, when Hillary's emails are leaked during the campaign, the questionable context that they were retrieved in was irrelevant as long as the emails showed damning information on Hillary. All that mattered was the content of the emails, not the source of the emails, nor the source's ulterior motives. But, when Trump's emails are provided to Mueller, we're supposed to disregard the contents of Trump's damning emails and treat them as irrelevant because of the allegedly "illegal" context in which they were retrieved? (The "illegality" of which was already disputed with the Tweets above?)
"According to our findings... everyone's done something jail-worthy. It'd be easier to just burn congress down and start from scratch."

Throw the book at the bastards, and let them feel it.
"According to our findings... everyone's done something jail-worthy. It'd be easier to just burn congress down and start from scratch."
It would be amazing if Donald Trump's presidency did actually "drain the swamp", albeit not in the way he wanted or expected :v:
Talking about Hillary's emails, shit's pretty fucky here, too. So, we know Devin Nunes was on the Trump Transition Team. NY FBI members very likely committed Hatch Act violations by indirectly blackmailing Comey into publishing the infamous letter to Congress detailing how the investigation into Hillary's email server was reopening. (Incidentally, the detailed backstory to the fake news site that acted to push Comey is insane by itself, part 2) Congress immediately leaked the letter from Comey, and this news is considered to have been a deciding factor that swung the race away from Hillary. And who leaked Comey's letter? DEVIN NUNES Who is complaining about the FBI in an attempt to undermine Mueller's investigation? DEVIN NUNES BTW, Nunes was complaining back in March that he had seen evidence that the Trump transition team had been scooped up in incidental surveillance. Now it's more than just incidental, honey. :v:
And what's really great is, if you read that giant NYT article about Trump/Russia as well as Trump's daily habits a short while back (the one where it talks about his diet cokes, 8 hours of TV, massive McDonald's meals, etc), you will recall a part where it mentions that Team Trump got the impression that they were vindicated from the "lack of progress" into the investigation, as the questions they were being asked about were of a "general nature" that suggested that the team was "only just getting started" and "trying to fish around for places to start". But, in light of today's news, it very will likely means that Team Mueller actually was much further into the investigation and that they were just being thorough to catch Team Trump in as many lies as they could, as well as using the inconsistencies to be pointed towards where else to look. Keep in mind this is also with various Trump members being wiretapped as far back July, and then keep in mind how much more Mueller knows that the public does not. With all of these developments, it's no wonder that Trump must be shitting bricks in fear right now. If the traditional GOP establishment members on Trump's transition team are also implicated in this, it also explains why the GOP establishment is working with Trump to conceal the investigation. Trump's affiliates, team members, etc are likely to have been caught on record lying to the FBI. :goodjob:

The fucking rabbit hole never ends with this fucking election
Oh now they're claiming executive privilage? Lets see how did that go last time a sitting president refused to turn over something..... Oh ya the scotus said thats bullshit and nixon was forced to turn over the tapes causing his resignation
Plus, executive privilege only applies to those in government, not when you're on a transition team. Fucking amateurs. They're screwed.
