Because unless those Communists are actively trying to resurrect old broseph what exactly would they be protested for?
If people held up portraits of Hitler, there would be huge protests and arrests, but because it's Left-Wing Stalin people don't give a shit.
Farage is the leader of UKIP though. Also, nobody takes any western communist party seriously.
[persecution complex] people are just expressing the well deserved and legitimate dislike of an abhorrent political party as they are allowed to do so and are protected in this free society.
There are many ways to do that. You can go on a talk show, make a documentary, write an Op-Ed, or even post on a forum like this one. But counter protests are designed to prevent someone else from expressing their right to protest. The whole idea of counter protest actually seems rather silly to me. Two opposing, emotionally-charged crowds of people with strong political views facing-off in the streets just seems like a recipe for disaster.
If you're going to judge a whole party by the opinions of individual candidates, Labour would be a militant communist party.
I'm judging them based on the fact that a majority of the candidates are racist fucks. "A few bad apples" I'm sure.
If you're going to judge a whole party by the opinions of individual candidates, Labour would be a militant communist party.
But isn't the whole point of political parties to band together people with similar opinions?
what about the opinions of the party leader
He didn't say all Romanians are criminals, he said that Romanian immigrants are more likely to be criminals than German immigrants.
If you're going to judge a whole party by the opinions of individual candidates, Labour would be a militant communist party.
How about the party platform itself?
I'm judging them based on the fact that a majority of the candidates are racist fucks. "A few bad apples" I'm sure.
Go talk to all 2000 or so Ukip candidates before you tell me the majority of them are racist.
He didn't say all Romanians are criminals, he said that Romanian immigrants are more likely to be criminals than German immigrants.
So what you're saying is that he's stereotyping romanians as thieves?
If people held up portraits of Hitler, there would be huge protests and arrests, but because it's Left-Wing Stalin people don't give a shit.
because facism is more abhorrent than communism
Go talk to all 2000 or so Ukip candidates before you tell me the majority of them are racist.
They are. The overwhelming majority so. In fact, pretty much only racists join the party.
Go talk to all 2000 or so Ukip candidates before you tell me the majority of them are racist.
or maybe you can just ask the founder of UKIP and he'll tell you why he quit in the first place
Then it wouldn't be populism.
It is, but it's that UKIP issues aren't often all that great populist. Labour generally has the majority of them.
because facism is more abhorrent than communism
Fascism is pretty much the same as Communism, there's just more private enterprise in Fascism.
He didn't say all Romanians are criminals, he said that Romanian immigrants are more likely to be criminals than German immigrants.
Think about it this way though. That's like saying people with blue eyes are more likely to be criminals than people with green eyes. Or whatever parallel you want to draw.
Go talk to all 2000 or so Ukip candidates before you tell me the majority of them are racist.
But Farage himself said that people should be concerned if Romanians move in next door. How is that anything BUT racism?
They are. The overwhelming majority so. In fact, pretty much only racists join the party.
Gotta love the irony here. You're against Ukip because you think that they stereotype immigrants yet you see no problem with stereotyping the entire party as racist because a minority of idiots managed to join.
Fascism is pretty much the same as Communism, there's just more private enterprise in Fascism.
heh, wow. stalinism isn't the only type of communism.
Fascism is pretty much the same as Communism, there's just more private enterprise in Fascism.
this is embarrassing [editline]20th May 2014[/editline]
Gotta love the irony here. You're against Ukip because you think that they stereotype immigrants yet you see no problem with stereotyping the entire party as racist because a minority of idiots managed to join.
except UKIP is a voluntary association, and you can legitimately be judged for wanting to be part of that.
Gotta love the irony here. You're against Ukip because you think that they stereotype immigrants yet you see no problem with stereotyping the entire party as racist because a minority of idiots managed to join.
yeah man UKIP are the real victims here lmao "Minority" my arse, every other day a new candidate is quickly and efficiently fired for embarrassing themselves.
except UKIP is a voluntary association, and you can legitimately be judged for wanting to be part of that.
Religion is a voluntary association too, so by your logic it's OK to judge Christians and Muslims.
Gotta love the irony here. You're against Ukip because you think that they stereotype immigrants yet you see no problem with stereotyping the entire party as racist because a minority of idiots managed to join.
How in the living hell are those two things even remotely on the same level One's a goddamn political party and the other is an entire fucking nation of people
Gotta love the irony here. You're against Ukip because you think that they stereotype immigrants yet you see no problem with stereotyping the entire party as racist because a minority of idiots managed to join.
No, like they legitimately are. Its not a minority and its not stereotyping. Its written in the party platform, its almost a prerequisite to join. Its the party leadership, its the party members, its the party supporters. It is from top to bottom a racist organization, their entire focus in on how other cultures and peoples are inferior and should not mix with some mythical British glory. About how all the problems with the UK stem from immigrants and the foreigners in the EU.
If people held up portraits of Hitler, there would be huge protests and arrests, but because it's Left-Wing Stalin people don't give a shit.
Dude, you should move to my country you'd fit right in.
Religion is a voluntary association too, so by your logic it's OK to judge Christians and Muslims.
it's extremely taboo to change religions, whereas i can vote for 10 different political parties and none of my friends would know. you see people's true colours when they talk about politics.
this is embarrassing
Why, if you're so confident that I'm wrong, tell me why. You don't have to be a condescending cunt
except UKIP is a voluntary association, and you can legitimately be judged for wanting to be part of that.
In what sense can they be "judged", they have a point of view that is shared by a large amount of people and they want to help spread that?
In what sense can they be "judged", they have a point of view that is shared by a large amount of people and they want to help spread that?
wahhabism is shared by a large amount of people who want to spread it do you judge wahhabism?
Why, if you're so confident that I'm wrong, tell me why. You don't have to be a condescending cunt
Why do I have to tell you anything? You never learn from these threads so why waste my time over such tedious and completely obvious points.
No, like they legitimately are. Its not a minority and its not stereotyping. Its written in the party platform, its almost a prerequisite to join. About how all the problems with the UK stem from immigrants and the foreigners in the EU.
What the fuck? If you're world view is that warped then how am I supposed to argue with you. All Ukip want is to implement immigration controls on a points based system. No where does it say that Britain is superior to the rest of the world.
No where does it say that Britain is superior to the rest of the world.
Bongo Bongo Land is clearly a land of equally regarded peoples.
it's extremely taboo to change religions, whereas i can vote for 10 different political parties and none of my friends would know. you see people's true colours when they talk about politics.
Not really, when someone sees the tenants of their faith as immoral they tend to leave just as they would a political party.
