Many people with non-mainstream views are attracted to them because their the only anti-establishment party with any real chance at gaining real power.

Remember the creed of fascism to a level - everything is the state. That's why it formed syndicates. There's differences between the two on a social level though. Fascism focuses on the national, communism on the international. Fascism tries to fight national groups more than classes like communism does and a bunch of other things. Then you also have national socialism which is even more of a blender of the two.

and scrapping any kind of green taxes to focus on inefficient and temporary shale gas completely removing tax on the minimum wage, crippling public services due to a sudden loss in funding Let's not forget the sudden restrictions of foreign workers, forcing them to pay for private education, healthcare and housing. Completely crippling the NHS due to it's reliance on foreign medical experts which the UK cannot produce.
