The slimes were supposed to be removed because of bugs. They're still in-game but they can't spawn.
Slimes are a fucking nightmare they keep reproducing until you can't move and then you get pushed into a pool of lava
Notch needs to see the light and add ponies.
Now, throw a few bags over him, and you have yourself an adorable chest to keep your stuff in!
Notch needs to see the light and add ponies.
Please, no.
Considering how easy it is to get them etc they seem fairly expendable/disposable. And the fact you can have multiple makes them even more so. Seems good as a meatshield type situation, plus they seem quite potent in combat.

Notch made a blogpost saying that wolves will be fairly rare.
You must be one of the lucky ones to actually see a slime
I saw a slime once and it fucking jumped into the lava as soon as it saw me.
I have a slime infestation in my mine, I don't know what you guys are talking about. Notch needs to make slimeballs do something.
Please, no.
But HQRSE has so many unfulfilled fantasies.
Pet pigs, make it happen.
awww...
I dont understand why people havent seen slimes yet? They dwell at the very bottom of the map. just dig a hole to the bedrock and make a room there, leave it alone for a while without any light. when you come back it will surely be flooded with slimes. it's always like that when i play multiplayer with my friends, and yes they can see the slimes too the big ones that is the small ones are clientside
What happens if you use a bucket on them? :v:
We need piglets, as pets of course.
You must be one of the lucky ones to actually see a slime
I'm pretty sure that slimes are a lot common now. Last week or so I've encountered many.

Where are my horses dammit.
I remember seeing a video about this before, was adorable. I kind of hope Notch uses it, or at least part of it. I'd love to have an army of wolves at my command.

I've only seen one slime before.
Awesome. On another note, I hope he can work with the mod community more so that most/all mods don't completely break after some minor tiny update. Mo' Creatures and Humans seem particularly popular, and are particularly prone to breaking. when Notch updates some file somewhere.

He should focus way less on silly updates like these and more on working towards these higher priority goals. Because honestly, the community could turn this out in a few days with a decent API. But come to think of it, before he opens up the engine perhaps he needs to develop it more by adding arbitrary features to test/expand the engine's limits? I'm not exactly sure. I'm also kind of bummed that notch is working on achievements and stat tracking. Its a meh feature that I feel should be added after the damn game is finished. Did anybody actually want to see that added?

How do you obtain them? Do you like, find wild wolves and tame them?
Now I'll have a dog and the companion mod. Yay!
How do you obtain them? Do you like, find wild wolves and tame them?
Yes, but they haven't been implemented yet.
Soooo cuuute! :roflolmao:
How do you obtain them? Do you like, find wild wolves and tame them?
From what I can tell from the video, you give wild ones bones.
So get wolves, put in a pen. Shoot mob with bow, hit button, let wolves out = success?
