NK is acting pretty god damn confident, I don't see why tho. They have no advantages, civil rebellion will totally break out once the military is busy and offguard.
north korea is allowing the workers to leave, according to yonhap
You know what's funny, is that I was listening to All Things Considered on NPR today, and one of the guys they had on was discussing when we should start to worry about North Korea... The Kaesong facility being temporarily shut down was one of the warning signs discussed. Wonder what this could mean. Does Kim Jong Un listen to NPR?

What if Kim Jong Un was actually brainwashed by his dad into believing those godly stories, US gov is evil, that NK is really the best country on earth. It'll make more sense for the increase dickwaving and war preparations.
If I'm guessing correctly, could this finally be the thing that launches the Second Korean War, if NK decides to do something horrifically stupid with trapped South Koreans?
Even trapping them is a nasty business that can't end well. Imagine if it was US citizens trapped by the Mexican government in Mexico. Cactus gibs would soar
Okay, NOW I think they're serious

The things you see right now were literally done already, right in this sequence, at least 3-4 times in the past decade, including cutting phone lines, closing factories, announcing military plans and what not. They're signs of a temper tantrum, not belligerence. Unless NK actually starts shooting something across the border, I see no reason to worry, and I really feel sorry for those who do.
Yup, I've actually come up with a pictorial representation of NK's seriousness/lack of seriousness.

The buildings represent NK's lack of seriousness, while the craters represent NK's seriousness.
From what I read, they were allowing people out but not in, I'm trying to find the source now.
Again, in NK's view the south is just a misguided group of bretheren that needs to be Unified. They will avoid killing KOREANS as much as possible. US on the other hand.....
That's why they wanted to shoot up a island that was inhabited by south korean people?
Next step is actaully warfare between the two. I actaully hope it will happen just for the poor north koreans who are opressed. Poor south korea though.
I'm surprised that people are still getting shocked by the titles. It's been the same for the last 2 or more months.
Nothing happened for the first few months of WWII either.
Nothing happened for the first few months of WWII either.
Well there was an invasion of Poland the first month, but after that...
Next step is actaully warfare between the two. I actaully hope it will happen just for the poor north koreans who are opressed. Poor south korea though.
Well it's not really good for the North Korean's either since they'll all get conscripted and thus likely killed.

We're getting closer and closer to hair being eaten....

NK got nothing to lose with all those sanctions in place.
